While things started out great...
While things started out great buying a new Toyota from Vanderstyne, it quickly turned into a fiasco! Delivery of the vehicle was promised 4 times over 10 days, and 4 times they called to say "Oops, sorry, you can`t have it today either."
Finally, they promised to deliver it to our house but my father would have had to then drive the salesman to Syracuse, which is an hour away. He ended up meeting them... view more 1/2 way, but still had to drive to Syracuse and then home.
The last delay was because they needed an extra day for detailing. How much detailing does a brand new vehicle need? One thing it did need was to have the plastic protectant removed from the top, which we noticed was still there after we got it home.
Other problems with them are too involved to go into here, but pretty much everything they say is a lie. Excuse me, they call them "misunderstandings".
Suffice it to say that they don`t care about anything after they cash the check! Zero follow up or customer service! Well, they did send a congratulations balloon...

Vanderstyne Toyota Worst dealership
This dealership is the worst dealership in Rochester, they have very awful sales team, I wanted to purchase a new car and trade in old, the transaction lasted two weeks and was told at the last day that they cant make the deal after adjusting trade in value twice. They are not well informed of what they do. Looks like they just went to the street and pull people together no dealership experience and very arrogant tea... view morem. Best advice, stay away from the dealership! alternatively if you want to experience very bad service just for record then check them out and remember to ask for Jay. I guarantee you he will set the record for you.

Vanderstyne Toyota - Best Dealership Experience!
After going to several dealerships, I ended up purchasing a 2010 Toyota Camry at Vanderstyne Toyota. My salesperson was Lorie Haller. Lorie was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She is not only professional, but personable.
I recently took my Camry in to have the first oil change maintenance done. The service person at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Even though there was no char... view morege for the service (the first 5 are free!), I was treated as if I was their best customer.

BAD,AWFUL AND SUBSTANDARD
cant not express how very Disappointed I am with Vanderstyne Toyota!!! I leased a vehicle through their dealership and it was not what they represented it as. I called them with my concerns of the vehicle they were less than helpful. I have called Toyota corp. and was told that they could get me out of the lease and Jay Vanderstyne refused to take the vehicle back.
