Do not buy a car from this pla...

Do not buy a car from this place. When I bought my sons car he did the NYS inspection and said eveything was fine. The next day the check engine light came so I took it back, he said he would take a look at it. The next day he said the car was all set, come pick it up. That evening the light came on again and when I took it back the owner said "don`t worry about it, its just the emissions system" I asked if... view more it would hurt the car and he said no". When I asked if it needed to clear to pass inspection next year he said " what are you worried about, just bring it back here next year for the inspection and I will take care of it". I took it in today for the inspection and the first thing out of his mouth is "the check engine light is on so we"ll have to see whats wrong". I reminded him of what he said when I bought the car and he said " it passed the inspection last year and I`ve got records to prove it". I told him I don`t care what he has to prove it you said you would take care of it. He hung up on me. NYS DMV law states you can`t go after repair shops after 90 days or 3000 miles. This guy is a crook and he knows what he`s doing. DO NOT DO BUISNNESS with this clown. He sells crap cars that he hides all the problems and then uses the laws to screw people. I now have to spend $800 - $1000 to fix the car.

Worst Dealer EVER

I bought a car from Riggs Auto a month ago, the body looked great. One month later there is a softball sized rust spot in the drivers side door. It was obviously painted over, along with several other spots that are bubbling up. You would have to be a fool to buy a car from David Riggs, be careful, I learned my lesson.
