on feb. 3 2013 at aprrox.1210 hrs. in the shirley locataion I,WAS TREATED VERY INAPROPRIATELY by a gentelman who has thus far been identified as the store manager "frank" he initially bypassed me to attend the need of another customer who arrived at the counter after myself (he) frank then after me expressing my desire to return a purchase of a set of fuses rudely and very dicourteously stated that I could... view more not recieve a refund without a purchase receipt. At which point I EXITED THE STORE however before leaving I asked for the number to aid auto corporate offices. Which I was subsequently issued by frank. I then exited the store without incident when I returned later, after having found the recipt for my return. (and notifying the corporate offices) Iwas informed by the store manager frank I would not be given a refund,regardless of my now having the receipt and presenting him with the receipt which based upon information and belief of the proceeding events I,feel upon information and belief of earlier events he (frank) determined that he would arbitrarily and capriciously deny my refund in violation of posted store policy and n.y. state consumer laws. I, then informed frank that I would call the cops at which point he (frank) informed me to do that. As apparently he deemed it both just and appropiate to in essrnce rob me of the sum of four dollars and nine cents .at which time I called the police to have a car come out to resolve the dispute. when the ofcs..arrived he (frank)was then ordered to return my funds to me at which he eventually complied seemingly under great distess and undue hostility and unprofessionalism this is a very unfortunate incident and I have been an aid auto customer for a considerable amount of years I feel I was violated as would any customer I deserved to be treated with far more respect and courtesy, I am just so disappointed in his unproffesional discourteous behavior overall he turned what should have been an awesome shopping experience into a literal nighmare and I still dont know what ive done to deserve it this guy seriously needs anger management and people skill training.
