Our business is dedicated to our customers. Established in Little Falls, New York in 1926 by Percy Whitcomb & Thurman Petzold who were both very honest and fair men. They built their business on these principles which is why they were so successful. Next in line for the business was James H. Whitcomb, son of Percy. Jim ran the business with the same principles of honesty and fairness with a personal interest in each customer. In 1991 Jim retired and his son Tom took over the business with many years of experience and training in General Motors vehicles. He is known all over the valley for his honest, helpful and friendly manner. Tom prides himself on making sure every customer is taken care of to their own satisfaction. When your requests are reasonable and within his expertise he will help you.

I took my car there for some work and was told the frame was rusted and should be junked only to find one of his employees driving it three months later. I took another car there for some work and they put a wedge on the lift witch did damage to the frame and they said the same thing, the frame was rusted and it needed a timing belt, water pump and other stuff which added up to $1000.00. I took my car to a different ... view moremechanic and he did all the work for $450.00 (which also included the hose I thought and told them was the issue) and passed it for inspection. It doesn`t pay to rip off hard working honest people. I would never go there again and wouldn`t recommend going there.

I NEEDED HELP

MY TRUCK BROKE DOWN ON THE WAY TO WORK,I CALLED 3 OR 4 SHOPS TO TRY TO GET SOME HELP.THIS IS THE ONLY SHOP THAT CAME TO HELP ME.HE FOUND A SHORT IN THE ALTENATOR,HE FIXED IT RIGHT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD,I OFFERD TO PAY HIM ,HE DID IT FOR FREE,I WILL FOR SURE GO TO HIS SHOP IF MY TRUCK EVER BRAKES DOWN AGAIN. ,THANK YOU SO MUCH,PS TRK IS STILL WORKING.

Crap Mechanic and will RIP YOU OFF

This guy will claim he is making a great deal and doing work for half the price of other places. But in the end he is charging you the same price for crap work. I brought my truck in to fix a gas line and while he had it he told me the brake line broke while he was test driving it. This is rediculous, I had no problems with the brake line before. He tells me the truck is ready to be picked up four days later. I pick ... view moreit up and the brake light is on still even after he apparently just fixed the brake line! I bring it to another shop and they show me various places where he used ILLEGAL parts on my truck that would not pass inspection!!. Not only were they illegal parts the brake line was still leaking!! Save youself the trouble and dont bring your vehicle here. Spend the extra 20 bucks at a legitamate place that does QUALITY work. This guy will come off as the nicest guy in the world and suck you in then screw you over and take advantage of you. Once again save youself the headache, dont go here!!!!
