Reviews:

Very disappointed - complete waste of time and $107
This is my first online review of a business. I made an appointment/went in to get a new car stereo, because my old car stereo`s CD player didn`t work. I didn`t mind spending a good amount. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? * Twice, the manager told me the main difference between the old stereo and the new one would be that the subwoofer wouldn`t work. That was fine. What he didn`t mention was that the new stereo was bright silver and very ch... view moreeap/cheesy - and that there would be a large gaping hole left in the black dashboard (a wide, very deep `pocket`). My car, a 2006 Honda Civic, already has two storage spaces in that area. It didn`t need a large hole. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? The new stereo`s lighting was so weak that you couldn`t read the clock (or anything else) outside in daylight. The manager mentioned that, indoors, you could read it - but I usually drive my car outdoors. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? The third issue was that the steering wheel controls - standard on Hondas - didn`t work with the new stereo. Instead of mentioning that the subwoofer repeatedly, it would have been helpful to know - beforehand - that the car`s basic stereo controls would no longer work. When I asked about it afterward, I was told that, for an addition $89, something could be installed to make it work correctly. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? Had I only been told that ahead of time - or if I`d been told that there`d be a big hole left in the dash, or that the weird silver stereo looked incredibly cheap/didn`t match the dashboard, or that the clock light/digital readout could not be read in daylight - I obviously wouldn`t have purchased the unit. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? I asked him to please just remove the new stereo and leave the old one. I told him they could even just stick the old one on the floor of the car and I`d just take it to Honda. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? The amount they STILL charged me for my wasting ~2 hours` time in a cold, dingy office? $107...for labor. ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? ?ˆ? I shouldn`t be surprised, in this day and age, that a local business wouldn`t care more about doing the right thing - but I am. At the very least, the $107 charge should have been reduced, as I`m sure the person doing the installation wasn`t earning nearly $50+/hour.

Remote Starter
Electronics Warehouse installed my remote starter. I have to say I was wanting my car to be warm but not wanting someone to mess around with the wiring in it. I was assured by the staff at this place that they were professionals and have done thousands of installs. Its now been over a year with my remote starter and I love it! I would never have a car without one! I would also recommend using this company to everyone... view more. They handled me and my car with the most up respect! My worries are no more and my body is nice and warm in the cold weather! A+ to this company!

771XV Car Alarm
Electronics Warehouse installed alarm and actuators for door locks. One actuator went bad in less than a year. Electronics Warehouse installed a new actuator at a price of $84. Door now rattles, and the door does not easily unlock by key now. They did not provide any training on how to program the alarm. Was mistaken about several key aspects of it as well. Users guide states several option possible that installer st... view moreates were not possible. Charged full price for the floor model remote.
