Pre-sales promises broken. Courteous but poor customer service when you have a problem under the ""

Don`t believe anything the sales people say, or especially promise, to lull you into a warm and fuzzy feeling.

If you have a problem under warranty, they will politely explain to you how you caused the problem and you must pay to have it fixed. Also they will tell you how every other Mazda owner has the same problems and they are understanding and comfortable paying for the repairs.

And, don`t try tr... view morey to tell them that if every other Mazda owner is having the same problems, it`s a design problem or poor manufacturing, because they will find a reason that it isn`t covered; Central New York weather and driving conditions, you are driving the car too hard, etc.

The service manager himself actually told me that ""these cars"" are not made for New York weather and I should have researched more before I bought the car! He also said that people buy cars for the looks and don`t check these details and it is his job to inform the customers. Of course, there was no response when I asked him why customers weren`t informed BEFORE the purchase.

If I could have rated them ""zero"" stars I would have.
