Horrible Experiance
We shopped an other Honda Dealer before going to Atlantic. We made a slightly better deal with Atlantic and although it wasnt to write home about we were happy. After we were approved and had signed our lease agreement and made our down paymnet, one of thier ""General Sales Managers"" informed the salesman to tell us the deal is off and they werent making enough money. This is after two trips tpo the dealer, takin... view moreg my money, allowing me to sign a lease contract and shaking our hands. They than proceeded to tell us that they could not refund the money they just took until their main office processed it. Well after 45 seconds of screaming like a lunatic in thier showroom they quickly processed my refund. This was the shadiest, most dishonest car buying experiance I have had. I recomend you shop somewhere else with executive staff that value thier customers. I wouldn`t recomend Atlantic to an enemy. Less than two hours after this or deal we had made an even better deal with a Honda dealer that was happy to have us for cuctomers. Run away from this dealer with your money in your pocket!

Not worth getting ripped off.
I purchased a pre-certified 2007 Honda Civic SI from a local dealership on 12/26/08. No accidents were disclosed. Took the car home and my mechanic noticed that the driver`s side door was misaligned and was repaired poorly (hollow sound and scraping the bottom of the door sill).
Took it back to the dealership and complained about it. A $200 dollar refund was given to me to realigned the door. When asked about... view more the paint, the service manager told me to just put some touch up paint on.
Fast forward a couple of months later. The paint on the door started to bubble up and rust. Took it back to the dealership and was told, without an inspection, by the pre-own manager to see his friend`s body shop as they will give me a discount on the work. I told him that it was a precertified car and now it`s rusting. He then replied that he is over his monthly budget and can`t spend more money on this.
I called Honda of America and filed an official complaint against the dealership. Honda couldn`t get the dealership to reply to them. So they had my ccar dropped off at another dealership for the regional manager to check it out.
The conclusion was that this was not a Honda manufacture issue and that the pre-certified warranty doesn`t apply. The door skin was not applied correctly and is rusting thru the inside. The trunk was also replaced (no VIN) and now it`s also starting to rust.
Took the car to a reputable body shop and was told that the door skin needs to be replaced, which is more expensive than just replacing the door itself. The body shop told me that the door skin was missing the proper foam/adhesive and is RUSTING throughout. The trunk just needs to be reprimed and painted
The estimated damage is about $3200.
***UPDATE***
Won the small claims court decision in March 2010 and sent the county sheriff to collect the fees. Thus far they haven`t paid or even responded. Altantic Honda doesn`t seem to have any integrity for the law or respect for their customers.
I know I will get the money eventually since there`s now a lien on their checking account. This whole situation could`ve been handled better from the beginning, but instead they choose to ignore the problem.

worst place!! they will cheat you
WARNING!!! be careful when signing papers. Very dishonest. Forged our signature (from different papers) stating that we approve on a price which was $900 dollars more than what was disclosed. I would just be careful... and don`t let their side stories fool you. Whole bunch of low lives working there to make ends meet for their poor families and just trying to make more cash on sales. Low class area, low class people,... view more low class service.

horrible service, sleezy salesman
I purchased a 2006 honda accord here over a year ago... I was mislead during the sale, and now trying to get my car serviced there has been a nightmare. You have to wait 2 hours on average for a scheduled oil change. I called to make a 30000 mile service. THe rep told me it would take 2 1/2 hours which is more like 4 and the would not give a loaner car for me to get to work, because the only do that when your car ... view moreis in the shop for several days!!! I had my inspection done and it failed because i needed a new tire. THey wanted to charge me 250 dollars for one tire. I refused got a tire elsewhere and came back and they told me at that time I hade to wait for six other cars to be serviced before I could get my car reinspected, because I didnt purchase the tire with them. THey are a bunch of sleeze ball, smart mouths, and have no clue that the customer comes first. THis is one of the worst service departments I have ever dealt with. If you plan on getting your Honda serviced at HOnda, buy elsewhere otherwise your SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR A LIFETIME OF FUSTRATION OR UNTIL YOU TRADE IN!!!!!
