Reviews:

I`ve never had a shop do so much damage to my car in my life! I Brought the car in for tire replacement and an alignment. The car was brought to the shop freshly polished in like new condition. When I got it back, there was a 1 foot long scratch, on the right rear door, a scuff mark on the front bumper on the right side (that one buffed out easily), and every rim had EXTENSIVE damage on it!! I couldn`t have caused th... view moreis much damage if I had tried. The damage was not damage from the tire machine or anything unpreventable, it was obvious that the rims were placed FACE DOWN on the ground! All of them had scratches on the spokes, some worse than others. All 4 rims were also extremely dirty (I wouldn`t really care too much about that if there was no permanent damage). I am EXTREMELY upset about this because even though I was able to compound out the scratches to about 90% (after working on it approx. 1.5 hrs), it still is not perfect, and it shouldn`t have happened in the first place. I understand that accidents happen every now and then in a shop environment, but in this case, it was obviously carelessness. For what was supposed to be a $1,200 tire swap and alignment, I am now looking at spending another $600 to refinish my rims (they will never look perfect, or be as durable as OEM if refinished), or spending another $4,000 to replace them so they can be back to perfect condition, the way they were before I brought the car in. Needless to say, I am a VERY unhappy customer. The gentleman at the desk (possibly a supervisor) was very nice, and appologetic, and offered to have the wheels "buffed out", but I decided to do that on my own because I didn`t want anyone else messing with the car. As I stated above, I buffed (compund with scratch-X) them out and they are about 90% correct, but it is impossible to buff out deep scratches and chips. I was thankfully able to get the door scratch out enough where one wouldn`t see it, unless I point it out. I still cannot figure out how that much damage happened from a tire change!

I thought I got great service
Went in today for tires, used a coupon I found on google for a free oil change when you buy tires. Nice comfortable clean waiting area with cable and a nice coffee machine. They had me in and out quick. I don`t know who the woman above dealt with, but I had an older man named pete or paul, I couldn`t have asked for better service and definitely didn`t feel like they took advantage of me because I`m a woman. there wer... view moree actually 3 other woman there waiting also, and two said that they have been going there for years for not only tires but for repairs. I called my husband to tell him how much the tires were (for a mid-size suv) and he said that the price was really good.

DISHONESTY
DISHONEST!!!!!! I bought my car in with a flat tire that needed repair. I was told that tire had large nail in it and was shredded inside from nail and from driving on low tire. The salesman told me to replace tire with matcjhing tire that they needed to order was $235. The put my spare on and told me to be back Monday. After telling my daughter who has a good knowledge of cars she went back to Barnwell to exami... view morene my flat tire that they took off of car. The tire did indeed have a large nail through it but there was not even a slight evidence of shredding or softening of sidewalls of any part of the tire. She brought the tire to another reputable tire dealer who examined the tire and 3 people there agreed that there was absolutely no reason to not repair tire, that the tire was perfectly safe and that it was not shredded. They even chuckled in amazment that Barnwell even did this. $16 for a plugged tire and my daughter was in her way with my tire saving me a lot of money. By the way i am a women and I feel that Barnwell took advantage and trie to pull a fast one.
