On the Saturday morning of Lab...
On the Saturday morning of Labor Day weekend, on a brief vacation in Bennington [we live in NJ], the starter on our 2005 Honda Accord died. AAA made a temporary fix and led us to Midas, the only repair place open that day.
Owner Vern Mc`Guire was fully booked, but took us anyway. When the appropriate starter didn`t look right, he did the research to uncover why our car had an unexpected starter in it, found a fore... view moreign car place in Albany NY with the necessary part, and had our car ready sooner than expected.
I would unreservedly recommend this Midas shop.

Bad brakes and service... Thes...
Bad brakes and service... These are so called brake Experts ???!!!
1 year ago I got an emergency brake job here, it already failed!!! I got it fixed at a shop I trust. After dealing with the manager trying to reconcile the problems, he refuses to take responsibility for negligent installation. Essentially the calipers were not properly lubricated and the rotors and pads wore out at an extremely fast rate. He ref... view moreuses to accept this as reality, and has given me nothing but trouble when trying to resolve the problem, suggesting it was my fault every step of the way. I could not be any more displeased with the representative from this branch whom I am dealing with. I do not trust them to install brakes any more, even if he offered to repair it for free after everything, how could I trust it was done correctly this time? Short story, do not deal with these people, they charge nearly double of what a good reputable hometown mechanic does, and they do not offer sufficient compensation for when the job goes bad much earlier than it should have.
With all that said, I never brought my car to a Midas before, and now I know why, they charge out the wazoo, they have terrible inexperience workers, and terrible customer service!
