Can someone explain to me why when Osborne Street towed me it was 100 for my 98 Honda Civic, but when these scammers towed me it was 125. I don`t understand how the CITY Rate changed by 25 dollars simply because another company towed me a few weeks later. Today my son got into a small car accident and after his car wouldn`t turn to the left. I called Capital District Towing and Dobie came to tow the car to Firestone and he was awesome. Dobie made this situation a pleasant one. He talked to my 18 year old son like he was a adult and showed him respect. Explained the things he was doing to his car and showed he cared. Dobie got 2 Managers to come outside and look at the car, showed them the problem area and had them clean out a bay and dropped the car off in the bay. This is the first time I ever had to have a car towed and I hope it`s my last. But if I ever need a car towed I will call Capital District Towing. Not only did Dobie go above and beyond I was impressed to see the tow truck show up within 15 minutes of my phone call.

I called about my car`s dead battery. They were very easy to deal with on the phone & asked for all the information upfront. They said they`d send someone out within an hour, and 45 minutes later my car was being jump started. Paid with a credit card, got a receipt on my phone. Would`ve been happy with just that, but then I went to the grocery store and the battery was still flaking out, so I called back. Police towed me but these guys were great

I`m a St. Rose students, and I parked where I didn`t belong and the Albany police had me towed, I also had unpaid parking tickets over 250 bucks worth. Well when I woke up and my car was missing I called the police and they gave me the news. I called Capital District Towing who had towed my car and they were great right from the very first call, they let me know the exact price up front and let me know about th... view moree tickets I owed and explained who I had to call and gave me the number. When I came in with all my receipts they quickly processed me and my paperwork and got me on my way. They did it all with a smile and very professionally. Bottom line....I got towed for an accident..they came. Driver was young and a bit of a know it all..honestly..rude..I got to enjoy a cigarette on my way to...too bad I don`t smoke and was never asked if I minded either...never again. These guys were great to deal with and their prices are good too. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them in the past. Obviously if you are in need of a tow truck, you are probably not in the best of moods. I called them up, they were polite, professional and honest. They told me it would be 40 minutes before they could get out to me, I was in a rural part of Rensselaer Co on a rainy fall day wh... view moreen my truck broke down - they showed up exactly 40 minutes later, loaded up my diesel 1 ton pick-up quick but carefully. The driver had the same pick up and speculated as to what the problem might be and suggested a good shop to do the repair. I used to take it to the dealership but now that it?ˆ™s out of warranty I?ˆ™d rather support a local shop. On a side note, the driver was spot on with his diagnosis of the problem. I hope I don?ˆ™t need a tow anytime soon but if I do, I will definitely be calling these guys again.

My Jeep broke down on Friday t...

My Jeep broke down on Friday the 13th whlie heading home after a 13 hour day of work. Steam was pouring out from under my hood on a hot muggy day in rush hour. A State trooper called CDT and Pete Cary showed up within 10 minutes. My excetations were exceeded; which is part of thier mission statment. I payed a reasonable tow rate and was drinking a cold beer , at home, in air conditioning on this extreeley hot muggy day. CDT was cost efficient, friendly, and professional. This could have been a real crappy day but the State Trooper called CDT, when my Jeep broke down, and I am glad they did. I recommend to call CDT when ever you breakdown or need a tow. My car got totaled and CDT cam...

My car got totaled and CDT came and got my car, while it was waiting to be appraised my GPS and other items went missing. It was awesome, first I lose my car then I get my stuff stolen.
