My son had car trouble while driving to the Rochester area. Vern`s got him in, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it all within an hour. The cost was exceedingly reasonable. They took the time to assure my son, who has only been driving for a year and a half, that his car was in otherwise good shape and would make the trip without problems. Would us this place regularly if I lived in Amsterdam.

We were traveling back from th...

We were traveling back from the Patriots v Bills game, Buffalo to Springfield, MA, and blew out our lower cooling hose on the highway. Fortunately, we were able to coast off the exit ramp to Amsterdam where we called AAA. Vern`s tow truck arrived within 30 minutes and we found ourselves in their showroom past quitting time. Instead of trying to get to Dodge dealership for hose, Jeff found us one at Advanced Auto Part... view mores. Mechanic and office staff stayed until the job was finished. Amazingly, from the time we blew the hose until we were back on highway, was only 1 hour. Many thanks to Vern`s staff to avoid what could have been an expensive overnight stay with many complications. The stay in the showroom was also great as they had 3 beautiful restored "Hot Rods" to keep us company. Again, many thanks for getting us on our way and the hospitality we enjoyed!!!
