Bay ridge Honda - stay away!
impossible charges for work. Went in with an electrical problem due to dead battery. They said I needed a new battery and alternator. Total bill? $950! $950!
How often would you expect to get ripped off through this dealership!

I hate sales men so its just another place where they are annoying too. Place is well kept. Staff alittle old but prices are decent. Shop around. Theres always better deals somewhere. Good luck

SNEAKY LIARS, STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY !! from Bay Ridge Honda, specially from their pre-owned dealer. I went in last week April 20,2011 looking for a pre-owened Honda Fit, after gruelling negotiation they finally reduced $500.00 to match what a near by dealer with less miles was offering. Well the red light went on when I was refused the request to speak to the financial mager about my loan approval and to obtain MY credit score by salesman SAL... view more and his manager ROBERT. I spent countless time asking to speak to someone about my loan, SAL said that whatever I wanted to speak to the finance department about I could tell him and he would ""deliver"" my message.I still cant understand why soo much SNEAKINESS, also their $895.00 dealership fee is beyond outrages I was being charged for the cleaning of the car. Finally, I decided they were too sneaky !! they have horrible customer service, no regards to what the customer`s request so I called off the deal. The day I called to obtain my $400.00 used to initially hold the car they refused to give it to me until I return ""their"" receipts (what stores ask for a receipt back?) since I live more then an hour away and $20.00 worth of tolls I called to see if I send ""their"" receipt back through certified mail, if i can finally be refunded, 4 messages later, no call back !! I even called the owner Bob Sebob and he said this is not of his matter !!!! bottom line my dear readers save yourself the frustration DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SNEAKS !
Liked: NOTHING
Disliked:MISLEADING, REFUSE TO REFUND HOLD, poor customer service, do not return calles, refuse to speak to you on the phone, outrages dealer fees even other dealers say is a total rip off.

DON`T just DON`T
I had my mind made up on leasing a 2011 Honda Civic. The salesman, Robert Scarpaci, and I came to an agreement of $139 per month. I left with the understanding that the car will be ready the next day. When I called the next day to discuss the insurance and the pick up time, Robert told me that my credit was bad and the bank would not approve of the $139 month payments. I told him to cancel the deal and refund my dep... view moreosit. He countered by asking if I would be able to get a cosigner. I told him no and reiterated that I wanted to cancel the deal and get a refund of my deposit. Long story short, he finally got the message and said that he would cancel the deal and reverse the deposit transaction. A week later, I did not see the refund in my account. I called and left voicemails that were never returned. I finally called and asked to speak to a manager when the receptionist, Cassandra, told me that Robert was on vacation. The manager took my information and assured me that he would take care of the refund right away. When I did not see the refund in my account, I went to the dealership and met with the manager who miraculously produced a receipt for the refund. I am waiting to see if the money will be back in my account within two to three business days as promised. Just f*ing horrible.

Horrible sales experience
Went to Bay Ridge Honda today. I have purchased many Hondas over the years (one a year on average), even worked for a Honda dealership many years back. Today was the worst sales experience I have ever had at a Honda dealership. I went in Sunday afternoon, totally ready to complete a transaction on a Honda CR-Z. First of all, the initial salesman I was greeted by and worked with was very nice, but then, another ... view moresalesman, who was nice as well - seemed to hi-jack me as a customer from the other salesman which was very off-putting. I made it very clear, I wanted a CR-Z in gray, wanted to test drive, and buy today. After spending an hour, I was told that they couldn`t test drive on Sundays - per the sales manager because of the ""union"" as the support staff doesn`t work on Sundays. I have never heard of this in my life. During my time there - they kept asking me - hey, how about an Accord, or a Fit, or we got a 2010 Acura TL on trade - NO! I want CR-Z. I simply don`t get this. I would have loved to have a customer that knew exactly what they wanted, and was ready to buy in the same day. Instead, they ignored what I kept saying, and then had every excuse why they couldn`t have a car ready to drive. What? Did they not pay their insurance for the dealer plates or something? So, I had to speak to the sales manager (I love that - ""let me have your speak to my manager"") What? Why? I am here ready, right now, and you want me to speak to your manager, because now I am leaving the dealership because you guys have no clue what you`re doing? The manager didn`t even extend a handshake, just the lame excuse that it`s Sunday and they can`t do test-drives. Whatever. So, I left. When in my car, the salesman ran out - and said - ""my manager said that I guess we screwed up and he will personally go get the black navi crz from the garage"" - if you`re serious and ready to buy right now. HELLO! I DON""T want BLACK, I DON`T want Navi. What the heck? I told him that they don`t listen to their customers and they`ve wasted enough of my time. CLUELESS.

Snakes are not as low
Well, I have never looked the devil in the eye until I dealt with Craig Bono at Bay Ridge Honda. He confused us, manipulated us, threatened and dismissed us, he looked right in my eyes and lied ... ultimately he ripped us off every way he could. This was after we signed papers for a car and then was old that oops, they sold it to someone else. If you smell the scent of sulfur when visiting Bay Ridge Honda you know... view more from which office it is coming from. I would say that I hope they rot in hell but that is obviously already happening.

The worst car buying experience ever
This is the worst place I have ever went to buy a car. I received a quote over the internet and wanted to close the deal at that price. They refused to honor it and the sales manager was downright rude and hostile. My sales rep Greg Keeler told me the car would be ready in a day and now two weeks later he has not returned one of my follow up calls. I am so sorry that I ever got mixed up with these crooks. I am s... view moreure we are going to wind up in court at some point. STAY AWAY from them and run fast to a honest dealer!!!

Horrible Experience
We went to Bay Ridge Honda with an open mind hoping for the best. As soon as I got out of the car I was ""greeted"" by a women smoking next to the front door that said ""That do you want?"" After bypassing that person we were then introduced to the sales man that had nothing positive to say about Honda at all. The man said that we could not test drive the car and kept on saying negative things about the Honda Civic. ... view moreWhen asked if he could tell us something positive about the car he said ""it sells itself"" After that comment we walked out of the store. DON`T WAIST YOUR TIME HERE!! The service was terrible!

Seems ok during research stage, haven`t bought yet though
We were really up front with these guys, telling them that we`d just started our research and wanted to test drive the model we thought suited us. Our sales rep was respectful and answered all of our questions. We didn`t even get close to negotiating on price, so we`re not sure how they manage that aspect of the transaction. So far so good. We did over-hear some sales conversations that were a bit pushy, but nothing ... view moremore than you`d expect when negotiating with a car dealer.
