In dec 2010 I bought a car from auto emporium. First it had no drivers side seat belt and I was allowed to drive it off the lot with the promise it would b fixed. They actually picked up the car from me saying they would fix it but returned to me the same day still not fixed. I transferred plates from another car. It took 51 days for them to register my car and due to that I received a letter from dmv saying my plate... view mores were suspended. Call to auto emporium said no problem the car is registered. Well it wasn`t. I got pulled over and received a ticket driving with a suspended registration. My car had a body kit on the front. It disinigrated during the snow storms in ny last winter. I had to have the entire front of the car replaced. The windshield wipers immediately rotted away the tires were old and dry and the rubber rotted. There is no extended warranty. That extra money paid is to repay auto emporium for the amt east coast funding would not finance for the car. I have been threatened with their shutting my car off by carolyn at first recovery. When I informed them that that is illegal bcause first recovery is not a lien holder first recovery put a lien on my car with incorrect milage eight months after I bought it. By the way first recovery is part of auto emporium and bruce is the owner/manager of both. Is there some kind of action against these ppl bcause I would like to b part of it.

i have delt with them is abso...

i have delt with them is absolutely correct they do it to every body ,my payments is $500 and half is going to them every month for 39 months. There is a case pending on them at DMV Vehicles safety and attoney general on long island you guys can check out or complaint to get results. The car is unrelible and breaks down every monday morining and (AE) has every excuse not to fix or reimburse .

Shady operation!!!!! Go somewhere else!!!

We Bought a truck from Bruce of Auto Emporium. When originally looking at the truck, I pointed out the items that were missing and I was promised them on delivery. Upon picking up the truck, these and other items were still missing after they said they were in the truck! They blamed it on the repair shop and said they will rectify the problem this time. After a week, on Friday morning Sept 17th we left the truck at t... view morehe dealership to be serviced for the said items amongst other items. After promises of the truck being ready each day, it was ready THREE days later on Sunday stating the items are in the truck. Upon picking up the truck the promised items were still missing. The missing items were a spare tire, pieces to the car jack were missing and never recieved the paper work for he Extented Warranty we purchased separately. They promise you things and do not give them to you. They even write IOU`s which does not mean anything unless you take legal action. Bruce the GM calls me and tells me he doesn`t want to deal with me anymore and will give my full refund back. Obviously minus the plates, inspection and insurance ........another ploy by them! They do have nice vehicles though. They just need to communicate better and get their act together.

Horrible Experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got pulled around by these people. I first was told cause of my credit problems that they would be able to help no problems at all. I for once believed them because the first salesmen called me everyday which was nice at first and assured me to just be patient and it would work out the car was mine he said. So they took my debit card over the phone and then never took anything out of my account for some reason....I... view more didnt hear from them for a few days and i found out that the guy i was dealing with was no longer there? That was strange considering 2 days before he had all of my bank information Very scary! Anyways I was told to fax my pay stubs w2 and many other things over the 2 weeks i did this every other day doing exactly what they ask and was told the car would be ready this saturday. Then that saturday came and i never heard from him. I talked to the GM who told me that he said the &quot;Deal looks good&quot; and who knows why. I told him i didnt want to get my hopes up but he said it looks good and he would call me back that night.........Never heard from him. 3 days later i called back and my deal got moved to special financing! And that he wasnt sure if it would work on that car cause it was a little too old but if i wanted a newer car it would definately work he said So i went along with it again after 3 weeks!!!! So i was told that he has my approval and there is a car for me if i would like it so i said id take either two cars he offered me. He told me he would call me back that night. Again didnt hear from him! Called the next day and he said that one car will definately work and he just had to sit with the boss and call me back in an hour. Never heard from him. Long story short after a month of doing so much work to try to get approved it was a waste of time I was told OVER AND OVER AND OVER that the deals were done and the cars i chose were fine. And well i dont have a car and was told if i put 3 grand or more i could get approved. Big suprise!!!!!! Dont get suckered into this place they tell you lies and never do good business like a customer should get from a dealership no matter what credit situation!
