Reviews:
I moved here due to military and took my car to F X Caprara VW for service. My car was in good condition so good that the dearler in GA offered to buy the vehicle back if i wanted to upgrade. I took the car in for the 80`000 mile check up and two days later i returned because i noticed the vehicle was driving very rough. I asked if they had used synthetic oil because not being a mechanic i had no idea what the proble... view morem could`ve been, my car has never driven that rough. He advised they only used synthetic oil. Well two weeks later i`m enroute to work and my car started making a loud noise and more so when i accelelerate. The engine light or nothing came on. Immediate i called my husband to advise i believe they did something to my car. When i called Caprara they told me they had no idea what it could be since there is no engine light so I would need to bring the vehicle in. Brought the car in and i was advised the exhaust pipe had broken off my 2006 passat. I asked the manager how could that be? He shrugged his shoulders and stated its a old car so over time the pipes break and it will cost $941 to replace. I am so upset about this because i truly believe the dealer has done something to my car to make us return and it`s very sad. My car is now sitting out at a firestone to get a second opinion because it cannot be driven. Let me also add i had an emission test done and at no point did the dealer tell me my pipe was bad or my gasket was broken it`s a total rip off and i will never go back.

BAD EXPERIENCE
What would you do?
Just bought a new 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI ( my first VW) purchased from a dealer that was 225 miles from home due to the fact that I couldn`t find a new (leftover) 2012 JSW locally.
The vehicle had 259 miles on it when we picked it up.
I had a pleasant buying experience and was able to negotiate my trade over the phone and via e-mail.
We bought a NEW 2012 leftover from this dealership be... view morecauce we could not find one locally. (we live 215 miles away)
We traveled home with no issues.
The next day, the check engine light went on, the vehicle lost power.
Our local dealer diagnosed a low fuel pressure issue. They removed the back seat to inspect the High pressure fuel pump. Upon further investigation they determined that the supply and the return lines were inverted. They switched the lines, drained the fuel in the tank, purged the fuel lines and said we were good to go.
The service manager told me that the only likely explanation for this is that someone at the dealer must have mis-fuelled with gasoline & the dealer serviced the car afterwards. As you might expect I was not happy that this was not disclosed prior to the sale!! I would have negotiated accordingly!
After several attempts to contact the salesman he finally got back to me. (after I cc`d his sales manager)
I communicated that I am not happy with the following...
1. They did not disclose the pre existing condition with the vehicle
2. I`m concerned about further potential issues with the fuel system due to this
3. According to the warranty, fuel system issues are not covered when mis-fueling has been determined.
After I called them out, I was able to get them to admit that they fueled the car with gasoline, repaired it, (incorrectly) and did not disclose it.
Oh ya, our local dealer also found that the coolant level was low, the plastic shroud covering the engine was dislodged, and the air intake cover was missing.

Lies
I bought a vehichle from the caprera dealership and they pushed for a $2,600 warranty that when it came time to use I would have ended up with a $750 bill! "lol wtf"
The vehichle I bought was inspected by them and they said the brakes were fine! Lie #1 the caliber was seized and there was no pad left . They just wanted to use the warranty which didn`t cover anything so they wouldn`t have to pay for it. Eve... view moren with the warranty they still had the nerve to charge $75.00 diagnostic fee. Dont trust this dealership they will always pass the "buck onto someone else. The selling point for us was that they could and would fix any and everything "labor , parts, service were supposed to be taken care of except for minor things like oil changes , fluids, and pads.
