The Big O Tires story begins back in 1962, just as America`s new love affair with the automobile was hitting high gear. The market for replacement tires was exploding, and independent tire dealers found themselves struggling to compete in the face of low prices offered by major tire manufacturers` own company stores. Big O`s founding fathers were a handful of progressive independent tire dealers who decided to band together to form a tire-buying cooperative so that they could secure volume pricing and keep their customers happy. Their concept worked. In the years that followed, The Big O Tires co-op evolved into a full-fledged franchise as it continued to find innovative ways to harness the power of the collective to benefit independent dealerships and their customers.Almost a half-decade later, Big O Tires has become North America`s largest retail tire franchiser, with over 480 independently-owned and operated locations in 20 states, providing customers with a broad range of automotive services in addition to quality tires, wheels and accessories. Big O has become an industry role model admired for its innovative approach to franchising and unmatched customer loyalty ratings. In 1996, Big O Tires joined forces with one of the largest and most respected tire marketers in the nation when it became part of the TBC Retail Group, an automotive retail network comprised of some 1,200 Big O Tires, Tire Kingdom, Merchant`s and NTB locations spanning 40 U.S. states. Big O`s reach was broadened again in 2005, when TBC Corporation was acquired by Sumitomo Corporation of America, the largest wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sumitomo, one of the world`s leading traders of goods and services. As Big O Tires continues to thrive and adapt to an ever-changing marketplace, it remains rooted in its humble beginnings as a proud collective of independent dealers committed to putting its customers first.Services:* Wheel Alignment * Tire Rotation* Brakes - Check Ups* Oil Filter & Tire RotationsBig O Tires ?ˆ“ The Team You TrustCall us now!

MIDAS (LAS CRUCES )- RIPP OFF
To make it easier, here what I sent to Midas;.
Location: MIDAS // LAS CRUCES, New Mexico
Hello,
I went to the location to request replacement of a Belt-Tensioner|. Since I had very little squeaking coming from the serpentine belt,. The Belt was brand-new installed the day before"". First point, it costs me 86,90 USD which is overpriced (there is a single bolt to remove!!!) second point is the fact, that the ... view moremechanic sprayed a fluid on the belt before he did the testrun"". The belt squeaked horrible, even worse than it did before the repairjob, CAUSED BY THE SPRAY which the mechanic used?.
Following to this situation came the SECOND BAD thing, the wrong DIAGNOSE from a mechanic|. I received on my receipt the information:
CUSTOMER WAS ADVICED TO REPLACE ALTERNATOR, which is totally WRONG,..I replaced instead the Belt again (which I can proof!) and my van ran fine again, without any noise from belt area.
That`s an imposition, first destroying my new belt, than the overpriced bill and on top a wrong ADVICE.
Hopefully you stay to your offer which is saying ""reward"".
Regards XXXXXX XXXXX
If there are any doubts, I can proof receipts of the repairjob, the new belt afterwards and I can show you my vehicle running fine without REPLACING the ALTERNATOR.
This repairjob was the worst I`ve ever been at. Also the most expensive one.
And guess what, I did NOT get my compensation!!!
And before the nice Employees of this ""shop"" writing their *** comments to this,..here the explaining:
1.They charged me 78 USD/hour + Tax ----83,90 USD for a real time repair of 20 minutes
2. They destroyed my new Belt with their Oil spray
3. They asked here in the forum, why I didnt replace the tensioner myself (!),..
// I was tired of working on this van,..ok??? I was convinient, that is why your STORE EXISTS !!!!
4. Here my proof...of their OVERPRICED BILL ,..the RECEIPT:
