We signed and pre-paid a 20+ window contract with Garcia Glass and Glazing almost a year ago. The job was supposed to be done in a couple weeks. It`s less than half complete after a year and now it`s winter. They promise to do work and don`t show up or call at the last moment with unlikely excuses. They left 3 windows unsealed and water damaged the wall. Even though required by law, they won`t supply the window e... view morenergy rating stickers so you can`t get the energy tax credit or even know for sure you go what you ordered. I finally had the Low-E coating tested it`s not coated at all!! Since they only bring one or two panes when they do show up I suspect I`m getting seconds rejected from other jobs. They seem to screen phone calls and don`t answer e-mail.

Boy, I wish I had read these reviews before I hired Garcia Glass. The workmanship was shoddy with glass not sitting square in the frames and goobers of silicon sealer trying desperately to fill up all the gaps they left. Seriously...negligent. You would think a professional glass company would at least know to use a paintable calk on window frames.

He said the job would be done on June 4. It is now August 23 (12 weeks late). The job is less than one half complete. He tells us he will show up on certain days so my 7-month pregnant wife (with twins) sits around all day waiting for him and he never calls or shows up. The owner is extraordinarily unprofessional and somehow blames us for his poor work ethic. On days he does work he stays for no more than 2 hours at ... view morea time. The whole job should take less than 40 hours. He as worked a cumulative 12-15 hours since being hired. I gave him a $1,600 deposit (50%) at the time of being hired. Last week he fraudulently charged my credit card an additional $1,150. This is legally fraudulent (I checked) because he was supposed to perform work the next day and never showed up and did not call. Further I never gave him authorization.

I have been using these folks for 10 years i would highly recommend them. I have taken all my cars and windows to these guys and they have always done a fantastic job and if anything ever was wrong they repaired it imediately. :)

They DOn`t show up when they are scheduled. Months can go by without them answering your calls. workmanship leaks and these are windows!
