Honesty is the best policy

I Was Told By Sears That I Needed New Ball Joints/rocker Arms When I Bought New Tires And Requested An Alignment. Montano Acura Checked Out My Car And Said I Didn`t Need New Ball Joints/rocker Arms And Saved Me About $500.

Worst car service experience of my life!

WOW! Talk about a terrible experience!
It started out good with a nice service advisor. It turned bad when they let me drive home with my passenger seat not bolted down after they had removed it to replace a warrantied seat belt part. (No passenger in the seat until I picked up my son an hour later.) Then the passenger door lock I had replaced a week earlier, $375.00, BROKE! While on I40 in TN my daughter almost ... view morefell out because the the door handle broke and window fell down(that was not broken when it was brought in). We called Mantano and they said they don`t know how that could be their fault and we would have to take it to an Acura dealer to have them look at it. Mind you, We are driving across country and had to stop in NC for 6 hours to have it repaired due to ""Faulty installation"", As stated by the Acura dealer in NC. Now we are in VA and my door lock only works 75% of the time and they have done nothing! I guess I have to take another day off to take my MDX to the Acura dealer!!!!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE, NO ADVIL NEEDED

I always wondered why my in-laws would keep saying ""you have to go see the folks at Montano Acura"" They were a broken record for this dealership, it was kind of crazy. I knew all their friends went there too. So yesterday, my wife and I finally took their advice and headed over and of course its easy to fall in love with any Acura especially the MDX but I must say we both fell in love with the people at the deal... view moreership too. I was amazed at so many smiles and people genuinely enjoying their jobs. It was contagious. We interacted with at least five employees each being nicer than the next. We of course ended up getting an MDX and I was pleased to experience that there was no ""pressuring finance office"" as we did all the paperwork in record time at the salesperson`s desk in the comfort of their very nice showroom. We really liked that. My wife and I were even more amazed when on a busy Saturday the salesperson said ""I`m going to spend as much time as you would like going over your new MDX, I don`t care if we are here all day. I want you both to feel comfortable with you new car and know how to use all of the technology."" I couldn`t believe it! He was serious. He wasn`t interested in making the next sale, he was only concerned about us. He paired both of our phones to the car and spent 2 hours making sure we were comfortable. That was awesome! The bottom line is we are officially Montano Acura fans. Wow!!! Oh yeah...and we love our new MDX too!

Problem with Salesman

My wife and I are shopping for a new car. We conduct all new car research by first using the internet,, creating a list of potential candidates, then visiting a dealership to look at the car without a salesman lingering around. At the top of our list was an Acura. We walked into the Montano dealership at about 1130AM, July 15, 2011 and had just started wondering through the show room when we were approached by a s... view morealesman. I quickly told the guy, ""just looking, don`t need a sales guy."" His response, ""then you came to the wrong place."" I was stunned. He didn`t say it jokingly, he was dead serious. My wife didn`t waste a moment, she headed for the exit. I asked him first, ""what did you say?"" followed with, who`s your boss? His response, ""I am"". I guess it goes without saying that Acura has been scratched from our list. Sure, we can go to Santa Fe or elsewhere but we won`t. Terrible, terrible treatment. My wife, who`s asian, is especially offended thinking somehow its because of her. In her country its unheard of for a salesman to ever, ever make bad remarks. Didn`t get the name of the salesman but he has a haircut like Nicolas from Eight is Enough.

Quality service and honesty

Great customer service, honesty, and willing to explain functions of the car in detail. When I bought both my cars there, they spent a lot of time with explaining how everything worked and then called to follow up and make sure I didn`t have more questions. They helped me set all the variables to my equipment and needs.
