Most Sincere Mechanic

Jimmy, the owner and mechanic is the most sincere mechanic you will find. He will never take advantage of you or try to swindle you for repairs you don`t need. His service is swift and his work is amazing. While the shop specializes in high end cars (mostly Audi`s) he can fix anything for a better price than the dealership. I bought a 2003 Audi A6 with twin turbo`s about 2 years ago and while everyone kept tellin... view moreg me it was a great car if I kept up with it, Jimmy told me the truth. He simply said "this car is beautiful and incredibly fast but it will always give you problems". As per my request he fixed what I asked, a complete rebuild of my transmission for $4,500. This may sound like a lot but it was $3,500 less than what the dealership wanted. A year later when my car was still having trouble I brought it back to him and he kept it for 8 days. He called me back and told me my problems would amount to another $5,000. He then took me aside and said "I`m going to tell you what I would tell you if you were my daughter, its not worth it, cut your losses and buy something more reliable". He didn`t charge me for a single thing and even handed me a print out of every wire and sensor in my entire car that he had personally checked along with notes and an explanation of everything I needed to make my car run well. While the car always ran exceptionally well, the engine light came and went as it pleased and there were always noises that couldn`t be explained until Jimmy had his time with it. Even Biener Audi, the most popular Audi dealership in the 5 boroughs couldn`t figure out what was really wrong with it. I now own a 2006 Acura TSX and take it only to Jimmy (who recommended I buy it for its reliability). If you`re car is important to you but you don`t have thousands upon thousands to spend, take it to Jimmy, he will take care of it and of you.
