VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Terrible service and EXTREMELY unprofessional!!! We wish we never came across East Coast Cycle... The only reason to come here is if you want to get lied to and taken advantage of.

If I could have given my exper...
If I could have given my experience zero stars I would have. Recently I had a newly purchased pre owned cycle serviced at East Coast Cycles. After the service was completed the bike was delivered to my home for the cost of $60.00 on Friday, October 21st, 2011. Where my experience goes bad is when the bike was delivered. After the driver took the bike off of his pick-up truck and put the kickstand on the bike fell... view more. As it was falling I yelled alerting the driver unfortunately the bike fell on both the driver?ˆ™s calf and the ground. After the driver was able to get his leg from under the bike we raised it. Once I was sure that he was okay I began to inspect the bike. It was then that I observed heavy damage to the left faring, which was scraped, cracked and dislodged from the piece securing the faring to the bike itself. Instead of asking if I was sure of the damage the driver insisted that the damage was already there. I debated this issue with him for a brief moment and realized I was getting nowhere.
After we both took pictures of the damage I contacted Allan, the service manager. I informed Allan of what occurred and alerted him of the fact that I took pictures of the bike when I first decided to purchase it; and inspected the bike, with the original owner, after paying for the service the day the bike was delivered. I was told by Allan to bring the bike back and the pictures that I was referring too. On Monday, October 24th, 2011 at approximately 2:00pm, I took the bike back to the East Coast and met with Allan. To my surprise and dismay, the person that spoke so professionally over the phone was extremely unprofessional in person. Instead of having photos printed I brought my laptop and attempted to show him the pictures on the laptop which allowed me to zoom in and out and to move the photo around. More than one time did Allan challenge me and my integrity demanding to be shown when the photo was taken and challenging the fact that the photo could have been taken at any time and that he wasn?ˆ™t able to see the pictures clearly. In all fairness I must agree that, yes, some unscrupulous person would attempt to present false evidence when being dishonest, however, I myself, a Detective with the Philadelphia Police Department with over 15 years of experience, would never put my reputation on the line for what probably would amount to be about $700.00 in damages.
More than one time did Allan also ask the same rhetorical question, So are you saying my guys are lying? Again, I truly felt insulted by his accusations. As much as I wanted to say in agreement, Yes. I couldn?ˆ™t for the simple fact that this person may actually have believed that what he saw was in fact the truth; therefore in saying Yes, I myself would have been doing the exact same thing as Allan, questioning someone?ˆ™s integrity.
In the end Allan blatantly said that he wasn?ˆ™t going to do anything regarding the damage caused by the fall even though his drive admits to dropping the bike. This experience has truly soured my opinion of East Coast Cycle of Bensalem. My bike was taken there to be serviced through strong recommendation. Never would I have imagined that things would have turned out like this.
In conclusion, I have nothing to loose in this matter, East Coast Cycle, specifically the driver at fault, does. I would never send a prospective bike purchaser or someone looking to have their bike serviced there.

They have everything that you need.
This place is the best shop in the area. They either have what you need in stock or can get it for you. The parts guys know their stuff. The service department has one of the best mechanics hands down in any shop anywhere. Good prices on the bikes.
