I`ve found my service center for NYC

I moved from the Midwest to Manhattan about a year ago. In Indianapolis I had a mechanic that I trusted and consistently went to. Since I`ve been in NYC I`ve been trying to find a mechanic I could rely on. After getting jerked around for about a year, I came across these reviews for the Verrazano Service Center while having issues with my car on my way to Ft. Hamilton. The Dreaded Annual New York State Automobile Inspection

During my young adult years I was kind-of-a weekend curbside mechanic and as a result I know when I?ˆ™m getting gouged by a service station especially when it comes to the dreaded annual NYS Automobile Inspection. What I came up with was a place called the, "" Verrazano Service Center?ˆ? located on 4th Ave. between 91st & 92nd Streets. Upon my arrival I was amused to discover that VSC was a British Petroleum, BP franchise. As it turned out their affiliation worked in my favor. That?ˆ™s because their business had fallen off dramatically because of some form of misguided boycott on the part of their area customers. Those area customers who choose to boycott this reputable BP service facility will ultimately be hurting themselves and their community as a whole. There is plenty of blame to go around for the events responsible for the Gulf of Mexico tragedy. Before this Brooklyn community took out their anger on this Bay Ridge franchise they should?ˆ™ve first looked into the activities of those who domestically share responsibility with BP such as the headline propelled yellow media, environmental profiteers like Al Gore and the extremist self-serving politicians that he and his kind influence.

The Verrazano Service Center is a 5 star business, I recommend it highly. Bay Ridge your loss is my gain.

As good as it gets folks....NEED MORE STARS..))))

Not too many shops here in NY has a knowledge about European vehicles..and folks belive me i am not talking about swapping your brake pads on your VW or fixing your Check Engine Light.I am talking about a serious electronic ABS/Suspension/ Traction Control issue on my 2006 Merecedes S500.
After charging my Amex $425.00 diagnostic fee and walking out with 2800.00 estimate i wanted to cry folks..I decided to Google... view more local shops here in Bayridge and realized everybody is talking about this guy Mike...
Folks let me make it short for you guys...I drove out in 45 minutes and my bill was $197.00 for a new tire...thats right people $197.00..
It was a wrong size used tire installed coming back from AC by a local shop...)))))))))AMAZING...AMAZING.....AMAAAZZIIINN GGGG ....
Guy is fantastic .true magician and everthing else you can name...

Awesome.........

I`ve been through several automotive repair shops over the years while maintaining my 95 BMW 325is. The dealers seem to do it right, but rip my face off at the register, and Mobil on 3rd.(where I used to go) just didn`t care after a while. I finally found Mike`s BP that will do just about anything needed, and do a good, honest job, at a fair price.
So far, they`ve worked on my clutch replacement, an... view mored the front brakes/rotors....and the price was the best I`ve seen. I`ll do the Injectors next week (I google everything price & repair cost first).
I`m going back for everything my car needs....even when it comes to engine repair since they bought a high tech diagnostic computer, and have a few guys on staff who came from dealerships. It`s not rocket science if you have the expertise and right equipment...and if you treat people honestly, and fairly, we`ll keep coming back, and we`ll tell everyone we know.... Why?... because many of us are tired of being screwed with car repair bills.Mike Cetin is the owner`s name, and he`ll take care of you.

Towed from Belt parkway on 08/29 to BP fueling station In Bayridge...Mike with a unique accent is a Rock Star technician!!!! Use to take my VW to the dealer, wow I wish I`d found Mike sooner, such a pleasant surprise. Top notch service, way less than the dealer, my car is always done in a reasonable time period , and yes the man himself is a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommended, ,

Last snow storm NY had around March 1 my daughter and her two kids were strangled with a flat tire at one of BP`s Brooklyn location ( verrazano auto repair) around 11pm. with his civilian clothes owner Mike went out of his way to help my grandkids and their mother.
As a greatly apriciated father and a grand father i would like to thank BP for having a great location operated by great gentelman like Mike.
