RETAIL BUYERS BEWARE

I called Car Parts Distributors once for a set of 4 Denso brand Iridium Power spark plugs for my Accord. They are listed on Denso`s as an authorized distributor. The only reason I did call them was because Pep Boys only had 2 in stock. Pep Boys price before taxes, had they had them in stock, was $6.99/piece. When I called Car Parts Distributors to inquire about these spark plugs, not only did they not have them in st... view moreock, the price was a ridiculous $20.00/piece!!!!!! That would be a difference, before taxes, of $52.04. I couldn`t believe it, I could barely stand, spit, nor chew!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess that they only want to deal with mechanics, thus allowing the mechanics, our mechanics, to pass the extra money onto us, the consumer. The economy is bad enough and doesn`t need any help from these rip offs!!!!! I`m going to drive a few miles further, and save the $52.04, maybe I`ll stop by and buy you a slice of pizza................................................
