While visiting Philly from Atlanta my X5 encountered issues on the road. Pulled it over in NC and was advised I could make it to Philly to have it checked out. Long story short after calling several reputable dealerships and local mechanics I was distraught because of the cost and time involved because I needed to get back to GA asap due to a sick mom. Hands down VAC would be my go to Beemer doc for any and everything. Was overly impressed with the overall knowledge and service. I don`t normally write reviews but they were soooo awesome and I know how rare excellent customer service is that I had to let the world know. Excellent Service and Quality Work

I recently bought a tired old E36 M3 that VAC has brought back to life for a lot less money than I was expecting. I took the risk and pretty much told them to address what needed to be done. They were very honest and upfront with what need to be done now, what could wait and what really didn`t need to be addressed until my credit card recovered a bit. The M3 has never run better. this place is AWESOME

let me just say this place is sweet. i would go here over anywhere in the area, they are the only ones i`ll let touch my M3, becasue they`re the only ones that dont eff it up :)! all of the guys there are awesome and they really really know their stuff...it is a littttle tiny bit more expensive than other generic garages, but they fix it right, the first time, and imo better than anywhere. goooooo vac!

Fantastic service and work

I have had my M3 serviced at VAC for 4 years. I was referred to the facility by my local BMW dealer who spoke very very highly of them and there specialty in the vintage M3s. The dealer employee noted that it would be cheaper than the dealership and It would be worth the trip into down town Philly. I was hesitant, but willing to give them a shot.

My M3 has been the most reliable car in my possession, I couldn`t be happier! 5 star.

Pathetic service and over-expensive. Did not get what i expected. I guess driving to Bavarian Autosports in KOP is much better and worth it.

Honest, family operated thru word of mouth for 25 years!

In response to ""Firstbeamer"" review which was excessively negative, I would venture to say that he has a character issue. I happen to work at VAC and Customer Satisfaction IS NUMBER ONE here. We pride ourselves on being fair, honest and ONLY recommending what is absolutely necessary. This claim from Firstbeamer leaves me sobered and disappointed that someone can spend only a total of $400 which included an intake ... view moreleak repair, a coolant leak repair, exterior temp sensor and a factory level diagnostic on 2 visits !
He never called to offer a chance at a solution, I just happened to see this post upon searching, but I know who it is.
We use a $12,000 factory level diagnostic, of course it will see more info than a $100 generic OBD2 scan tool bought at PEP Boys, he just wasn`t ready to hear that his car was not a quality car having been salvaged.
As far as the part removed from his car, the tech accidentally threw it out, but it was dead and of no use, nonetheless, he was scolded for throwing it out. Having the dead part in the car makes no difference to how it works.
After seeing this post, we called him without mention to do a quality control follow up, till now no call back, guess, some people are impossible to satisfy.

If you love your car - NEVER VISIT VAC

These guys may be good in racing and rebuilding BMW engines but please beware. They will break your car more than they will fix it. I recently visited the facility for doing regular maintenance work on my car. They are not concerned with CUSTOMER SATISFACTION at all. They just want to make money. They never called me to tell me where they are in the process and when i called back they said they want to keep my car fo... view morer another day just to tell me that there are 10,000 problems with my car (even if it drives perfectly). I own an OBDII meter myself and there was only 1 fault code; which after the visit to VAC i could find 5 codes. They remove parts from the car without notifying the customer and when i fought with them about the same thing they said your part was not functioning properly so we removed it. Imagine someone telling you that your lungs arent functioning properly and just removing them without letting you know. If you love your car ... DONT EVER VISIT VAC !!!
