I never thought going to an auction would be this much of a success. Found a beautiful BMW and drove away with it that afternoon. I have had the car now since last year and have had no problems at with it. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Philadelphia Auto Auction!

Philadelphia Public Auto Auction is the best auction in Philly, hands-down. I`ve looked at multiple auctions in the past before coming here, and I came back ever since. Take it from someone who has purchased multiple cars here, the quality of the vehicles is unbeatable and their prices are unmatched. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in need of purchasing a vehicle

I recently bought a car from this auction (2002 hyundai ). First off you will not be allowed inside the car at all. You will only be allowed to look at the car and its engine. The staff will not be helpful, they only want the money for the vehicle; they will not answer any questions except when and where you will be able to pay for the vehicle. My winning bid was for $2900 (after the auction added there many, many fe... view moree?s the cast was $3500. I had to pay $800 on scene when I made the winning bid (they want cash and won?t accept checks).
I was then rushed into a back room with an armed guard and 2 tellers behind bullet proof glass; they will not allow you to bring anyone into this room with you. They will answer no questions about your vehicle except its make, year and model, and watch your paperwork! They put me down as having $800 down when I paid $900, it took an hour of me waiting and yelling at several different people to get this corrected. Your down payment is non-refundable, so be sure you want the car your bidding on because no matter what happens you will never see that money again.
After paying $800 down, you will have 2 days to gather the rest of the money and bring it to them. Remember if you don?t have that money in 2 days, they keep the down payment and your car goes back up of sale.
After buying the car I found that the following repairs were needed.
New Battery, Replaced front passenger ball joint, Replaced starter, Brakes, Tune up, and a few other things, that total a little over $800.

Went to the PHPAA today and saw some very nice cars in great condition. I plan on going back to bid for something soon. Nice to know that there is an affordable option out there!

I had a great experience at the Philly auto auction! Looked at several cars while there, and all were great deals that I could never find anywhere else. Very comfortable experience and would definitely return in the future.

This is the best auction I have ever been to and I have been to several. The Philadelphia Public Auto Auction is a great alternative to buying a used car at a dealership, you can get a much better deal. I drove over an hour to get to this auction and it was well worth it! They actually drive all of the cars in, unlike other "Push and Pull" auctions I have been to. You really can get a great car for an a... view morewesome deal at Philadelphia Public Auto Auction! I recommend everyone who is in the market for a used car check it out.

The Philadelphia Public Auto Auction is a great place to buy a car. I have purchased my last 2 cars from them and I just took my mother there last week and we bought a 2008 Explorer for much less then any dealer we shopped at. If you?re looking for a used car, I would highly recommend you stop by this auction, you?re bound to find a great deal!
