Shocked by deception

A friend bought a used car at Holberts (used, on the showroom floor) that had an accident history that was not fully disclosed. Warranty was also misrepresented, but they agreed to fix the mistake. Dealer representative later admitted ""this car should have never been sold here - it should have been sent to a wholesaler as-is"". Too bad for my friend who ultimately got stuck with a car that had a significantly di... view moreminished value, once the Carfax history was posted. Dealership forced him into a trade of his Audi plus cash on a VW that he didn`t want, but had no choice short of litigation. That`s just bad business in my book. The dealership should have either: bought back the car for the original price OR gave him full market value on his trade in. Shame on you Holberts.

i don`t know if i`d ever go back

service was ok. they had my car for over a week before they called to tell me what was wrong with it. everytime i called i would have to leave a message and wait a day for them to call me back, so it was phone tag for about 5 days. they told me my repair was going to be $800, i asked them if the extended warranty i purchased would cover it and they instantly said no. i called the dealership i bought the car fr... view moreom and they told me to call the center i have my warranty through. i called them and they told me my repair would be covered under my warranty along with all the labor charges. i`m a little annoyed that they would jump the gun and just say "no it`s not covered" instead of telling me i could call my warranty place and find out.
