DO NOT USE HAINES TOWING! They are a deceitful and predatory towing company in Bordentown, NJ. They will tell you lies about car dealerships not being open, and that they are unable drop off your vehicle at the dealerships for multiple erroneous reasons. They lie and state that no other towing companies can enter their premises. They will lie to you so that you must use their towing services. DO NOT USE HAINES TOWNING!!!!!

Avoid at all costs - tell AAA to use another company!

My brothers car died on the Turnpike. Haines was called by AAA. They towed the car to their storage and would not release the car to a local mechanic unless we showed up in person. This was impossible since we had continue on in my car to Baltimore. They would not accept credit card numbers over the phone or via fax. They are nearly impossible to deal with on the phone. If we did not find a local mechanic that... view more would pick it up and pay for the towing the car would have been stuck in there storage (incurring a daily fee) until we could show up in person. Take Home Point: If you call AAA on the NJ Turnpike near Bordentown, tell them to use someone beside Hainses Never use Haines if you an use someone else.

Biggest cons in town

We were unfortunate enough to run out of gas on the NJ turnpike and a very nice officer called a Tow truck for us. Someone from Haines Tow came and got us and towed us to their lot. My husband walked to a nearby gas station to get a gas container and we had enough gas to drive to the station but since the driver left the lights on our battery died. The driver was very nasty and even dropped our vehicle in mud that... view more we had to push out with our 3 children helping us push. After being charged $80 cash for the tow alone they said a battery jump would be an additional $45.00. We did not have the extra funds and even after pleading with them because it was cold and our children was tired and cold they still did not help us. Their garage became a hotel because we as well as the other cars stranded slept there freezing and finally one of the other vehicles found a service station as Haines Tow does not provide any car service what-so-ever, the fellow stranded individuals drove all the way back and gave us a jump FOR FREE, and we were finally on our way home, NO THANKS to Haines Towing.
