Reviews:
Newark Chrysler Jeep is horrible-Don`t take your car there!
My wife took it in for a problem with the car shutting down. They told us that we needed to put over $2000 into fixing the problem and even then it may not be fixed! WHAT? Either you can fix the car or you don`t know what is wrong with it, it is one or the other. The Jeep went in having a problem with it occasionally shutting down. When it came out after the oil was changed, it doesn`t sound or run the same way. Now ... view moreit cuts out all the time and sounds like it is missing. I hate to insinuate that they are dishonest, but draw your own conclusions. I will never go there again

Deceitful and shady
the service department practices unethical service methods, doesnt follow customer instructions or requests, and is untrustworthy. I have been trying to get a problem resolved with an issue that started on January 5th of this year. We had only asked thenm to perform a diagnostics check on my van. In addition to doing this, they performed a 23 point check(we didnt ask for this)when the rep from the service department(A... view morenthony) called us back, he said the diagnostics found an evac leak. then continued to say that upon doing the 23 point check (again as i stated i didnt ask or want this)was told that my breaks were down to the metal, and would cost 318.00, i needed 2 rear tires (which we already knew and have replaced) at 300.00.We toldl him we did not want these services at this time and to please have the car ready for us to pick up. When we got there,it was still up on the lift, we waited and waited, we finally paid for the Diagnostics and got our van. Upon leaving, we noticed that now all of as sudden our breaks were squealing ( they were not doing this when we took the van in to them) and that upon pushing on the accelerator, it would hesitate and feel as if it were going to shut off ( which it wasnt doing when we took it to them). I drive this vehicle daily, and I know what it is and it isnt doing. My husband calld Anthony and took back the van, they claimed the only thing they found was a loose hose, but my husband had also found that 2 of the spark plug wires were loosened as well(hmm)anyway, their service rep (Anthony) said that the mechanic that started the job had went to lunch and because we wanted to pick up our van, they had another mechanic finish and perhaps this was the reason for the loose hose, etc, ( hmm). The van has not been the same and it is now 2 weeks later. Lastnight it promptly shut off in the middle of a busy highway during the snow storm. It has never done this in the 6 years i have had this vehicle. Newark Chrysler Jeep`s service department is useless. Even the receptionist has no professionalism, when I called she answered the phone but was in a conversation with someone else while i was waiting to ask for a Manager. Today I plan to speak to my attorney to see how I can proceed legally with regards to the treatment and "service" or lack of " that I have received. My closing thoughts...Dont buy or have your vehicle serviced there.
