I`ve been dealing with David Dodge since August 2006 in connection with maintenance on my 1997 Grand Caravan. I had always received outstanding service until the last two unscheduled visits which occurred mid 2012 and last month. I had noticed a change in service hours and personnel and made my concerns known. The Fixed Operations Director, Mr. Bob Mistichelli, contacted me and asked to speak with me. I was impre... view moressed by Mr. Mistichelli`s interest in my observations. I believe they were well received and am confident my earlier concerns have been rectified.

David Dodge went above and beyond. My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland was experiencing severe transmission problems while in the area on business. I live approximately 2.5 hours away. Despite being overbooked for the day already, they accomodated me by taking the vehicle in, doing some major repairs, and getting the vehicle back to me. They kept me apprised of the progress on the vehicle throughout the day. I ... view morewish I had this same type of service closer to my home. Outstanding and very much appreciate. Thumbs up! And this was after a holiday weekend!

I had my car serviced at this stealership in an emergency. I got 2 completely different diagnosis reports, was charged more than I was eventually quoted once diagnosed the actual problem, got charged for unrelated services I did not ask for nor approve and when I began driving my car home I realized my gauges were no longer working and had to return it the next day to have them fix what they screwed up...and that did... view moren`t go smoothly either. If my car should ever break down anywhere near David Dodge again I think I`ll be better off just leaving it on the side of the road with a rag in the window.

My first experience was bad......
My first experience was bad... I had a leaky window in a GMC Truck that I bought used. My friend told me to take it to them because they had a company that fixed this kind of problem... Over a month of taking my truck back and forth, (due to the fact that the window repair service only showed up on Thursdays and was actually a subcontract company for Davids Dodge) Also I didn`t know it was leaking till it would r... view moreain and I was driving... I gave up and took the truck to another mechanic who also had a guy, who just removed the window and reseated it with a new seal. 360 bucks down the drain and all I got was free coffee everytime I went... I never went back till my Dodge Van had a problem.... My 2nd experience, I was kind of out of options due to the fact that they are the closest Dodge Dealer to my home. My AC was making a real bad grinding sound and needed a tune up. I was scheduled to use my Dodge Van on vacation with the family in two weeks, so I called Monday first thing for an appointment and took the van to see if the problem could be fixed. They scheduled me two days later on a Wed. I told them it was probably something with the fan, which they confirmed when they called 7 hours later. Wed afternoon 3:34pm The blower fan was bad and I had a bad resistor on the selector switch, which kept the 75% fan speed setting from working, so I needed a new blower fan, a housing, and a new resistor. $700 and some change that included labor. Go ahead... so I thought. On Thursday at 12pm, They called to inform me they did not have the parts in house and couldn`t get aftermarket parts so I`d have to use factory original parts, which where somewhere in Connecticut. Add another $168 bucks which I was fine with... The service tech told me they`d get the parts shipped ASAP and should be in by weekend. I replied, overnight, right? He said probably, worse case the parts would come on Saturday and they`d work on it immediately. (Probably, ready by Monday...) so I thought. I didn`t hear from them on Monday, so I called them Tuesday only to find that the parts are still in Connecticut and are being shipped today, with a 3 day ship method. UGHHHH. Van will not be done till earliest Friday, 10 days since I dropped it off for a simple blower motor replacement and a tune up... Now my van dash is all apart and I when I get it back, I will never go back... They are professional up front and really fail you on the back end.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR CAR TO DAVID DODGE GLEN MILLS. HAD A CAR SERVICED BY THEM AND THE MECHANICS STOLE MONEY FROM MY CENTER CONSOLE. DO NOT TRUST THEM AND DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

I spent 2 months visiting other dealers for quotes on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Bottom line I got the best price from David Dodge Chrysler Jeep. The whole staff was very professional. Ed was my salesman and a great guy to deal with. My only complaint would be the time. I was there for 3 hours.

Horrible service, bearly friendly people, not capable of fixing their own brand vehicle. The reason I traded my car in for a wonderful Nissan! Loved Jeep prior to this experiance.
