Car Problems? We`ve Got Solutions!
We are a small family owned and operated automobile repair shop. Founded in 1972, our goal has been to establish a working relationship with our customers through an open door philosophy. We offer the advantage of giving the customer an opportunity to talk with the people who have actually done the work to your car. The business became a father-son operation in 1994. Both are ASE certified master technicians.

I maintain my vehicle on a very regular basis with a regular mechanic. I just had winter tires put on my car and I explained to my mechanic that at a certain speed, the front end of my car shimmied a little and pulled to the left. My mechanic doesn`t have the equipment to do a front end alignment, so upon his recommendation, I took it to a shop that could. I made an appointment with Quality Motors for a front end ... view morealignment. After an hour, the dealership contacted me and informed me that instead of the $65.00 for the front end alignment that I was quoted, it would be a little over $1,000 to fix my vehicle. I was informed that my car needed a low ball joint on the driver side, a low tie rod on the passenger side, brakes and my rotors turned. I then made a phone call back to my regular mechanic (who is extremely reputable) to share with him what the dealership told me. My mechanic was very surprised at what they said they found but also the price I was quoted to fix said problems. He order the parts in for the front end that would be required to fix the problems that the dealership said there were. When he got the car into his garage and took apart the front end, he found the ball joint to be minimally marginal and showed me the tie rod end was not loose and did not have to be replaced in anyway. He also explained to me nobody turns rotors anymore because it causes shimming and shaking. Its just cheaper and better to buy new rotors. To have my mechanic show me these issues and replace the ball joint cost less than 1/3 of what I was quoted from Quality Motors. The car is did not need a front end alignment which was also relayed to me that the car needed by the dealership. For these reasons, I will not go back to Quality Motors. I feel they were trying to pad me with unnecessary services.
