Downtown Collision Center repaired my 2003 Toyota Tundra 4 wheel drive pickup truck after it was involved in a wreck on 1 Jan 2009. It took them two and a half months to fix. I had filled up with gas just minutes before the crash when I got the truck back it had a half a tank left. The trip meter had an additional 60+ miles on it. The front driver seat, front passenger seat, and center console cover had embedded epox... view morey body filler, ground in dirt, and fingerprints on them. Also; they charged my insurance company for a replacement right side leaf spring which is obviously the same spring that was in the crash. They removed the entire rear differential and axle assembly plus the left side leaf spring and replaced them with rusty parts that they got from a junk yard. They didn?ˆ™t bleed the brakes to get the air out of the brake lines now the peddle goes almost all the way to the floor and now I have to pump the brake peddle in order to stop the truck. Over twenty dollars in cash was stolen from the center console. I called Downtown Collision Center on numerous occasions to get a status on the repairs. Most times I called they said they would find out and get back to me. They actually did call me back two out of ten times. One time they called back three day later. Once I called them four times in one day to get a status and they failed to find out what the status of repairs was. The day after I got the truck home it wouldn?ˆ™t start. The passenger side door wasn?ˆ™t closing enough to put out the door is ajar light and the battery lost its charge. When shut the passenger door stuck out about ten centimeters further than the passenger side cargo door. I shouldn?ˆ™t have had to adjust the door myself, I shouldn?ˆ™t have had to bleed the brakes myself, I shouldn?ˆ™t have had to charge the battery myself. The repair to the right side bed was satisfactory although the TRD sticker looks to be slightly crooked. They also replaced the front bumper which was grazed in the crash and this appears to have been done correctly. If I could have given then less than one star I would have.
