This car center is bad very untrustworthy I went there to get my alarm installed that I had bought else where on line the told me it would be a total of 300.00 with the by-pass Modual included I thought the price was ok even tho I purchased alarm else where so I Went ahead and gave them the ok to go ahead and install the alarm I would had brought the car there at about 2pm and was told it would be finished by abou... view moret 6pm but if it took a little longer that they would finish it the same day so I figure maybe another half hour or so. Well come out of work around 630 don`t get back in town till 7pm stopped by to see if my car was in lot as I was told it would be finished and now I am an hour and a half pass the completion of the car but I arrived and no car place was closed I looked around the car was in the garage and they were still working on it I was like ok I`ll come back later person in charge said yes I will call you as soon as it is done I left and thought nothing of it Well I did get a call at 10pm that day to tell me my car was complete and that keys were in car so I said ok!! But then he went on to tell me oh yes by the way I installed alarm and remote start (witch is one unit viper 5901) and everything is working but your remote start is not working I tried it several times and it wouldn`t work in fact it only worked once I told him that that was imposible the unit is bran new there`s no way it don`t work I asked him if he programed it correctly as I my self know how to install but because car is new and under warrantee I did not want to do it for warrantee perposes He said yes evrything is installed perfectly but it won`t work he even went on saying I even opened the brain up and it looked like eyou have a bad circuit So sinc it was already so late I told him I would discuss it with him tomorrow Before I could setoff phone andvend conversation hevstated that he had the same alarm and that he would sell it to me for 350.00 and that he would swap everything and program it for my car intold him that we can du use it tomorrow as I had bough alarm and th alarm is bran new and under warantie from the place I purchased at so we left it at that Next day I was still puzzled and could not believe this so inwent ahead and brought the car to another shop close ton were I work and told them what had happened and they told me that they would fix it not a problem so again prior to thus I had paid 306.82 for install taxes included as it was so posed to be 300. So at the new place the charged me 100.00 paid them didn`t think tonmuch if it as I wanted my unitnto work as it was inteded to do. couple Hours later they had finish the car and everything worked perfecto!!!!!! The sales guy there even gave me back 30.00 as he said he just had to reprogram the unit the ne charge would be 70.00 because the charge by the hour and that he felt bad as he stated the recent installer was tring rip me off he stated that the previous installer programed the unit so that the remote starter would not function as my car is a manual not automatic the previous installer programed the unit for automatic and that that is why it would not start at all and keep giving me an error when I tried I was happy to know the alarm was working properly and I am going down there ASAP to ret some refund as they (midway car center) were tring to extort money from me for my alarm that was perfectly fine Also the other service center told me that it was purposely done as the alarm comes factory default for a manual tranny and that the other(midway) knew that and they went ahead and programed it for auto anyway so that I would think it was broken and purchase the other unit for another 350.00 So ppl stay away they are rip offs specially the so called manager mr.Patrick Bad bizz don`t go there stay far away therevare others in the area that are better and won`t rip you off

This place is horrible

I bought a replacement remote for a car alarm they charged 80 dollars for remote and programing the remote went there twice to get it programed and the bald a%% owner tells me he can`t do it cause its raining out don`t go to this place its a joke GO TO CARISMA they treat their customers with RESPECT

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!...

NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Know one of the people who work there and they rip people off so much. I got a remote starter installed there for 350.00 plus tax and come to find out i was told they put in a model that was pulled from another car over a year ago. Needless to say they give you used product and charge way to much. They are the type of people who take your money and then when (not if when) you hav... view moree a problem they try to do everything to make it your fault and charge you more. Another thing the employee told me was someone went there for a remote starter install and when they took the car in saw it had a remote starter in it and programed a remote to the old starter and charged them full price. One thing i can say is never trust someone who can hardly speak english. Midway Car Center is a rip off i take my car to car isma right down the road. So to save you money, time and a headache think twice before going to this shop

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!

I bought a remote car starter from this place for a gift for someone two weeks after the install it did not work!!!! TO make a long story short I battled with them on more than one time I talk to the owner who argued with me! Also while going there many times I ran into other unhappy customers. All I can say is that they tryed to scam me I spent almost 400.00 their, and all they tryed to do was blam the problem on me... view more and my car and in the end it was them and their employes .They did end up fixing the problem only because I fought tooth and nail with them and I kept my reciept. So think twice before going here its not worth the headache. There are many other places in the area and I am sure they will take better care of you than this place!!!!!!!!
