Horrible service

We went to pick up our car after they worked on it and the battery was dead, tools were missing and belongings in the trunk were gone through. The manager had a major attitude and was very defensive when we brought up the issues. Swore up and down that he runs an honest shop. Clearly tools wouldn`t be missing and the car would be fixed if they were honest. I spoke with a sweet girl Melissa on the phone who then directed me to the district manager Jim. He was able to get me in asap. I had tried to get in to other shops and was not able to. I would say that I have had the best experience! I usually take my car to the dealership until recently I had some major problems with the work that was done. I called Transmission Technicians and spoke with the manager and within minutes he told me to bring it down. I did and he told me that they would do a free inspection and diagnosis something I am not familiar with from other shops!!! He took the price down to less then half of what I would have paid for at the dealership!!!! I said sign me up!!! My car runs like new!!!! DONT USE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED-OFF!!!

Im writing this review for my mother who is in her seventies and has no internet access.

A group of 6 people including my mother took her motor home on a vacation to Las Vegas. Right before arriving there, they had some engine problems and took the motor home to SUVS & Trucks-R-US. They told her the motor home will need a new engine. She trusted them, agreed to the repairs and she and her group had to fly the ... view more760 miles back home. About 3 weeks later, my brother and I flew back to Las Vegas to pick it up and drive it home. Once we got home the engine developed a `ticking` noise so we took it into an authorized Ford repair center equipped to handle motor homes. They found that a bolt hole `tab` on the rear bolt where the exhaust manifold attaches to the engine block had been broken almost in half causing an exhaust leak and the ticking sound we heard. The Ford repair center said the only way to fix it, is to pull the engine, weld the broken area closed and tap new threads.

After contacting SUVS & Trucks-R-US about the problem, because the new engine has a 1 year parts and labor warranty and 3 year 36000 mile manufacturers warranty from Ford. SUVS & Trucks-R-US basically told us. Too bad, we`re not going to do anything about it. They didn`t even want to investigate the problem or talk to the repair center.

In my opinion, I believe only one of three things probably happened.
1- The new engine arrived already damaged and they installed it anyway because they informed us the motor home was taking up too much space and they wanted us to come and get it as soon as possible.
2- They damaged it while removing it from the crate or installing it and decided to put it in anyway without informing us of the damage.
Or
3- They didn`t install a new engine and just reinstalled the old one or another used one after repairing the original problem and painting the engine block to look like new.

They charged my mom over $6500.00 for this repair and they wont even discuss the issue with her. A minimum of 1 star rating is required otherwise they wouldn`t have received any stars.

Very Impressed

Nice people. I did the IT work for this location so I got a first hand perspective of the day to day operation. They did my car, too (AC, fuel pump, oil leek).
