TRIED TO CHARGE ME $800 FOR UN-NEEDED MAINTENANCE!

I took my car to Midas on Windmill and Pecos because I took it there last year and had a great experience. Last Thursday I had an appointment for an oil change and brake pad maintenance. I was quoted over the phone (by the manager) 219$ for pads on the whole car. After the car was ""inspected"" I was told that 219$ was actually the charge per axle and that I needed new rotors on the front. All services including ... view morethe oil change would cost $800. When I asked the manager (the same manager who admittedly quoted me over the phone) why I was under-quoted over the phone, I was responded to with attitude and denial. The manager was actually argumentative. After I communicated that since I can no longer trust Midas I wanted my car back and that I would be taking it somewhere else, the manager went into the garage and complained about me to his employees. I could hear them in the back talking about me. So unprofessional! I took my car to T&M Automotive for a second opinion and it was determined that my brake pads are still at 50% and my rotors do not need to be replaced! Midas tried to charge me $800 for un-needed maintenance! On top of that the Manager handled the situation unprofessionally.

THEY RIPPED ME OFF WITH $380.00

THEY SAID THEY REPLACED A PART. I HAD THE AUTO INSPECTED AT ANOTHER SHOP WELL KNOWN BY BETTER BUSINESS BERAU AND THEY FOUND OUT THE PART WAS NEVER REPLACED AT ALL. THEY GAVE ME THE ORIGINAL PART TO KEEP AS PROOF.

MIDAS SAID THEY REPLACED THE PART AND DIDNT.
