Does not honor Warranty!
I`ve had minor details needing fixing such as the steering wheel coming apart and my driver side sun visor ripping off. They fixed all that.(ordered a new steering wheel)
I told them there was a popping noise on my turning radius. They said they fixed it. I went home and came out of my drive way and POP! I brought it back (since they had to order a new steering wheel. ) They had me get in the car and show the... view morem what was wrong b/c they could not find it. 1 minute drive with the mechanic I showed him the problem.) (Yet a piece on my steering wheel is backwards and I need to have them fix that too!) More time from me that I don`t have.
Yet my hood is starting to have the paint peel apart from the clear coat primer and when I asked them about it, they told me that my paint ""is not factory paint"". I bought this car(New) off Honda West`s lot and have owned it since in Vegas. Not one touch of paint has been dealt with since. They had a ""Cadillac cert"" measure my paint with a meter that measures the thickness. He quickly measured my car all over and the numbers were random, but since he touched my hood at the middle, ""yup, there has been work done on this hood."" This is extremely infuriating! I bought this car brand new off Honda West (Las Vegas) lot and with the warranty in effect they`re accusing me of painting my car! It is 100% stock off the lot! I`d invite anyone to inspect it! My hood looks as faded as the rest of the car! The finish on the edges are smooth as factory paint and the bolts under the hood are clean with no torque break in the paint. If anything, its defective out of the factory yet they are blaming me for their defect.
I`m fed up with this dealership...They say they fix my steering with the popping, yet I hear it again going home. (Had to show them the 2nd time to fix it) They fix the steering wheel yet (knowing my car since I own it, the bottom middle plastic piece is backwards) Now I have to have them fix that, yet the paint they claim is MY FAULT!. I feel like I need to get a lawyer! I`m getting the run around.

Do not buy here... please read the review
First, lets start with the initial buy... Took an entire month of haggling to get the payments the dealer, and myself agreed to... Jumping through their many hoops, and offering the keys back to them on a daily basis... Flat out rediculous... Less than a month after i recieved the plates from the dmv the battery failed.. a month after that, while on a road trip to oregon i found out the brakes were fried... The shop ... view morei took it to said it needed new rotors... not cheap on an s2000... Certified used car my @&&... Now comes the really fun part... The alarm they installed on the car that came with the gap insurance was wired in by twisting wires together and wrapped with electrical tape... Now, three years later the tape isn`t sticky anymore, and the wires touched... The alarm is tied into the ecu, which is badically the car`s brain... About a $2000 fix... Now the lovely people at honda west refuse to take responsibility for the damages, and are now denying puting the alarm in, and they are also denying that the car was even certified to begin with... if you are reading this on facebook please republish this... Nobody should buy here...

Honda West - Worst Honda Dealership in the country
I bought new 2009 Honda Accord. I asked them to tint the window. When it`s done, the left a lot of scratches to the side body. They did not acknowledge it. Soon thereafter, the remote key malfunction. Instead of fixing it, they said and I quote ""Honda West is not responsible for it because the key could have been dropped in the water"" I did not drop it in the water. Finally, suddenly the rear arm broke. I complaine... view mored to them because it is still under warranty. And they yet again refuse to fix. They did not return your call or your e-mail. They are crooks. Go somewhere else to buy or service your Honda.

Worst Service Department -
Wow we have owned Honda`s for over 10years -- But with the service department representing Honda at Honda West it will be time for a Change - Their Sevice Manager Wayne Courtland (sp) is the worst he has no customer service skills and should not be in his position - Our car has been in there 7 times for the same problem and they refuse to fix it. I have now made a call to Honda`s corporate office and hoping to get th... view moreis resoved - Can`t believe what a crummy job they do really gives HONDA a bad name -- WOULD NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO HONDA WEST!

Unethical
I purchased a 1998 honda civic ex 6 months ago for $5000. It had 140,000miles on it but was told it had one owner and was in mint condition. After a test drive I noticed when I put on the brakes that it may have something wrong with the brakes. I was told it was I was not used to the car. I bought the car thinking that because it was from the dealership that they have had to checked the vehicle completely. I soon fou... view morend out after 2 days of driveing it had nothing to do with me and it was the car and sure enough I took the car in and found that they changed the rkae pads but not the rotors and they were bad. I called and complained and they fixed them and I thought my problems were over. Now here it is 6 months later and the transmission is haveing problems. I take it back in to them and they said I need a new trasmission along with a whole list of problems. I was overwhelmed. I presumed that the car would at least last me a year. I dont drive crazy and take it easy on the car. They want to charge me $4000 for a tranny. With no discounts for just getting the car from them. I was told from them that buying it used with that many miles something was gonna have to be done to it. Wow thank for the news breif. Here I am laid off with a child and little income and they dont even blink a eye. I got quoted $1500 somewhere else. Thank for nothing Honda.

snake
I had a transmission problem going to Vegas from LA. I was with my family so wanted to make sure I get the correct diagnostic and decided to head for a Honda dealer. Everyone always warned me not to take my car to a dealer because they overcharge. I decided the price is not the issue, I wanted a professional to look over my problems because I wanted to get home safely with my family.
From the get go I new they we... view morere going to screw me. I can tell from the look in there eyes there were not there to serve me but to make all the money they can from me. First they wanted to charge me $120 dollars to check the problem. They asked me what the problem was. So I told them the transmission light came on so I check the hood and found transmission fluid leaking. I new from past experience it is better to use Honda trans oil but found only generic trans oil so used it knowing as soon as I get to a Honda dealer I was going to change to the correct oil. I agreed on the $120 charge hoping they can give me good news. 1 hour later they came back and told me I need to change my transmission and they can get one by tomorrow. They wanted to charge me $5000, that is correct $5000, to change my transmission. I told them I don`t have the money and was hoping they can change the trans oil to Honda and I will take my chances. The snake told me they cannot not change the oil because they would be liable. The snake also told me
the possibilty of my car making back home is none according to there diagnostic. I was lost. I was 350 miles from home with my family and did not know what to do. As I was driving back to the hotel, I saw a small transmission shop. In desperation I drove in and told the Mexican shop owner the sad story. I was in there mercy. I new they would tell me the same story as the Honda dealer but was hoping they would charge me less. After driving my car and checking the level of the trans oil, this is what he said " Sir you have only one problem, your oil level is too high so we need to drain to correct amount. We need to charge you $25 dollars to do so. Is this ok"? What $25 dollars! To make sure I told him, " the people at the dealer said there is no way I will make it home and that the transmission needs to be changed. I have my family with me and wanted to make sure I can make it home." He looked into my eyes and assured me there is no problem, but if I wanted to be sure to drive back to LA during the night time when it is cooler.
It has been 2 weeks and my transmission has no problem. Went to a transmission shop to make sure and they told me the same thing as the Mexican Senor " no problemo."
This great country is having so much problem because of the blood sucking, non patriotic, and greed driven people. After this incident I have decided never to buy a Honda again. Yes the car is good but the people at the dealer are snakes and will not associate with that kind of animals.

Honda West
This place is the biggest ripoff in this city. They are very shady and sneaky.
I don`t recommend anyone using this dealer.
I really don`t think 1 star is worthy.

Poor Customer Service from the Honda West Service Department
Poor Customer Service from the Honda West Service Department:
I`ve been going to Honda West for over 11 years and I purchased a 2004 Honda there. I telephoned the service department and made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to have a radio display repaired and to have intermediate level maintenance performed on my `04 Honda. It wasn`t a burnt fuse, and I explained that the radio functioned normally except the... view more clock, volume amount, and radio station failed to be displayed. American Honda Motor Company published a Service Bulletin that covers the dim or dark Audio/HVAC display. It is a common problem and the bulletin covers a huge range of affected VINs among 2003 and 2004 models. American Honda Motor Company increased the warranty to 7 years or 100000 miles on the audio unit display. The culprit is a latent failure on an associated electronic printed circuit board (PCB). The service bulletin also includes a simple step-by-step repair procedure with photos for the auto technician. I called well in advance to have my radio display unit repaired under warranty, and the Honda West service department representative stated that he would be able to repair it today. This obviously implies that the PCB is readily available for replacement. I couldn`t come in right away and scheduled for a later date. On the day of service, intermediate service was performed but I was informed that I would have to return to Honda West the following day because the PCB wasn`t available. The service department management (Daniel Koneck) also told me that they would have to verify the PCB was the problem and not a fuse, and that they didn`t stock the PCB. Are they taking lessons from the sales department? I won`t be back.

An awful experience
On a purchase of a new Honda, during the payment process (for which they kept us waiting for more than an hour!), they added on a $611 "documentation" fee (which was not disclosed ahead of time!) part of which was a $189 anti-theft "footprints" registration that I could sign to accept or decline. This was AFTER they insisted on taking my thumbprints, FBI-style. I declined and was told I would be charged for for the a... view morenti-theft registration anyway. I refused to pay the undisclosed extra ant-theft fee. On the wall was a large poster claiming that I would be offered such "deals" and could decline them if I so wished. SOMEONE is trying to keep `em honest and not succeeding! The finance mgr was obviously taken aback (a) at my refusal and (b) to be dealing with a customer with at least a double-digit IQ. At that point the finance person rushed from the room to call the mgr (I was paying cash, by the way), and then the mgr charged into the office and said I HAD to pay the fee because they were "losing money on this sale!" I was paying over $1k above cost as established by consumerreports.com. So, confronted with such obvious dishonesty, I walked out. What bait and switch artists! This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
