Dont go to these scam artists, buy online cheaper

I called and confirmed that they had a vehicle in stock which they did, so I printed out the price list and went down there to get the part (the price list said 137.50 on the part). When I get there I tell them what I am going to get and they tell me the price is $540.00 for a transmission and I told them that it says $137.50 online and they tell me ""well you wont find this transmission anywhere else so it is $540 t... view moreake it or leave it""...I hope they go out of business

Maybe your a closet shopper, alot of us (including myself) shop at many yards also and if we pay $1 or $2 CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NUMBER ONE!!!!,insanity has nothing to do with anything. I see the negative remarks and want to tell the TRUE JUNKYARD DOGGS that these people are insane! This is the yard you want to go too! The one On Lamb is acres and acres of concret full of over 3000 autos. Addmission is a dollar to cover insurance. YES they do check your tools to make sure you DID NOT FORGET to bring in SAMPLE parts (ie. the part you want to match). YOU are free to roam the yard. THIS is not... view more one of those RIP Off yards that PULL for you at 80% retail cost. YOU DO YOUR OWN WORK! One could destroy a car here and they do not care (its scrap metal). The man that SUGGESTED that they charged him $150 must have gone to the (LOOKS LIKE) PICAPART A CITY PICKAPART (note the spelling)? Different yard; those people are *ssH*LES! I have pulled parts all over the Western US and this PICAPART is just like Pick-n-part in California and over serveral US States (I believe in thirteen states)! I have pulled in Texass too!
I pull parts: sometimes I get a lousy price at the EXIT when I get an overpriced part I throw it into the CORE PILE and walk away. Come back PULL again until I get a fair price. Heck: I pulled parts and did a swap (took all day) just as an experiament. NO complaints from the yard (these cars are for scrap).
I just wonder who would complain about getting parts for almost nothing (scrap prices). BUT hey stay away from my lincolns! I made $1000 pulling and selling on eBay! Stay away from this yard! IF I could only fool you I would; but these yards are the best in Nevada and Cali for that matter (Cali charges $2 and no transfers to the other yard). THATS THE TRUTH! OH! never call a yard and ask for a part! These are self service yards. What derelict would call a bar and ask WHOS THERE? Do your own foot work and reap your own rewards. The best ride in town. MY LINCOLN IS INCREDIBLE because of their help.

Seems like I delt with the ""Town drunk"" & ""Village idiot""

Called nevada picapart one afternoon and the person answering the phone said can you hold. Then click . I was on hold for at least 15min. Then phone was answered again and the same thing. Can you hold? then click. On hold again for another 5min. So I hung up called back and on hold again for a moment. Explained year, make & model of the part I was looking for. If available or not. The person I was transferred to said she couldn`t help me before even hearing what I needed and transferred me to someone else. Now trasferred to another person who finally listened to what I was looking for. Then advised me to look on there web site parts list; WHICH ISN`T AN AVAILABLE OPTION. NEVADA PICAPARTS YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for proving your ignorance and horrible customer service over the phone. It saved me a trip.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!!!

YA I HAD A RUN IN WITH THIS YARD ALSO.... MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I BROUGHT A TAILSHAFT HOUSING FROM THEM, GOT IT TO THE WINDOW,THE GUY SAID $25.00.... BUNCH OF CROOKS!!

I want to this place looking for parts. When I got there they opened my toolbox and took a quick clance. I said there was only tools. My tool box is NOT organized at all, just kinda thrown in. I spent a $150 dollars in body parts. When I went to leave the looked in my toolbox again. This time the took everything out of my toolbox. They found a BROKEN spring loaded clamp that was always a pain to remove so I changed m... view moreine to a screw clamp and threw tho old one in my toolbox. They also found a old valvebody part and a old door lock with NO key. Both mine. All of it TRASH! They wanted me to pay for them!! I told them it was trash from my toolbox and to throw it away. They said if I didn`t pay I could come back. I said I would never come back to pay for the trash in my toolbox that I didn`t even know was there! If I spent $150 why wouldn`t I spend $5 more???? There are other pic a parts in town! I sugest useing one of them and not this place! If you do find youself STUCK going here I sugest DUMPING your toolbox out and let THEM put the tools back in!!
