Horrible Rip-Off

I went in to get their $99.88 special because my brakes just needed the usual repairs. 5 minutes after they took my car into the garage, they came inside and took me for a "tour" of my brakes. They "highly recommended" that I replace every part of my brakes, from the master cylinder all the way down to my pads and shoes. I understand that I may look like I don`t work on my own car since I am a gir... view morel with an infant, however, I do the majority of my own engine work. Most of the parts that they were saying needed to be replaced I had, in fact, replaced the year before on my own. The quote they gave me was $899.31 before taxes...yes, that`s right, $899.31 when I went in for the $99.88 special. I asked them to give me a quote for the bare minimum to get my car "drivable" and the new quote ended up being $495. I immediately had them put my tires back on my car so that I could leave. At first, they were saying that they couldn`t let me drive away with my car in the condition it was in, but with my persistence they let me leave (if they had held me I would have called the cops for false imprisonment). I went to Honest-1 Auto Care today and for $300 they replaced my front pads and ground/rotated my rotors, a rear cylinder, shoes, loosened the tension on my driving belt, topped off my fluids and rotated my tires. Beware of Just Brakes because they lure you in with the $99.88 special but refuse to do it if you won`t get all the other repairs that they say that you need! Don`t go here!
