Had a transmission that went out and my car would not move at all, my husband who is in the Military visited the ammco store on Nellis blvd. and was told that he could make payments on a transmission for a thirty day period. I had fould a transmission that was cheaper but I did not have the money at the time, so we went with AAMCO. we were quoted a price of 1800.00 which was 600.00 more than what I had found, but t... view morehat was just an estimate on a rebuilt, just something that came to the top of his head. The car was towed to AAMCO free of charge we were told that we would have a final quote after he took off the tranmission and was then told that it would be 1100 more than the orginal quote and that was after all the discounts were applied. he told me that he would give me a rebuilt w/ all new Parts, so that it would be just like having a new transmission as opposed to having would that was rebuilt. said cool lets do this. He needed a 1500.00 down payment. said okay even though I that it was strange because I thought we were making payments. no reciet was given to me, I called the next day and asked that I get a copy of the quote that he had that we agreed on, I guess it is not in his general practious to give out the quotes and recietes because he seemed annoyed that I asked for one( word of advice get one, i read on the internet that is how they make addl money, they come back and say that this is something else is wrong and the price goes up and you do not have anything to verify the price that you agreed on.) he called me 3 days later and told me that it was done. My husband told him that we could pick it up on 1st, which was a week and a half later he stated that was fine, but he wanted more money down. we told him that we would pay it off on the 1st, I picked my car up on the 1st as promised and the transmission is already acting up, I drove it 3 hours around town, now I have to drop it back off at AAMCO, same one that I had a problem with because the watrrenty is only for that shop. thanks AAMCO.

The Best Transmission Repair Facility in Las Vegas

This location does excellent work in a timely manner at a reasonable price and are very knowledgeable in the transmission work they do,I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs transmission work done.
