We Specialize In Automatic and Manual Transmissions & Clutch Repair

We are a family owned and operated transmission shop, with long term employees of 35+ years experience. We opened our doors in 1964 at 3088 S. Highland Drive as "Royal Transmission". Over the next 30 years we built our business to 9 stores. When we started, we were a rebuild shop, but in 1981, we remodeled and expanded our original shop to include 3 service bays, which allowed us to work directly on customers vehicles. In 1994 we sold 8 of our stores to the Cottman Transmission Franchise. We remained at our original location, and renamed it to Transmission Service Center, where we have been providing great customer service for 49 years.
