Worst auto repair experience of my life! Took my 2007 Audi A4 to Raymonds because my check engine light was on and it would not pass smog. Also the cover that shields the engine from the road had fallen off and asked him if he could secure it back on with a few bolts Left my vehicle there and had my wife drive me home.He called me the next day and told me that my car needed a new sensor valve and a tune up and that wo... view moreuld fix the issues and that he would smog it for me.Total cost $640 dollars.I really needed my car for work so I told him to go ahead and fix it. Called me the next day and told me my car was ready.paid him the $640 in cash .picked up my vehicle and left thinking all was well. After driving my car for about 20 min. my engine light came back on and my car started to misfire and shake violently almost stalled on the freeway! Took my car back to him. He told me that I now had a bad coil and that for $150 he would fix it.If he was such a good mechanic why didn`t he fix it right the first time?after telling him that I didnt have $150. He told me that he would install the coil for free if I paid for the part which he claimed cost $80 dollars. So I paid it.afterwards I called the auto parts store and to my surprise the part only cost $25 dollars!! The worst part of this story is that my car is still misfiring my engine light is on and I`m out $720 dolllars.my car runs like crap and now I have to go find an honest mechanic.I`m sure they`re still some out their. This guy is a crook and a thief and his nieghbor that does body repair told me after I had left that this guy has been ripping people off for years.STEER CLEAR OF THIS GUY!!!and don`t make the same mistake that I made.

My Father inlaw took his beeme...
My Father inlaw took his beemer to this place . He felt welcome there . Well when ever his beemer broke it`s a 1989 525i he would go straiht to this place. I never ask how he found this shop . Short story the shop did a head job @139000+ cost about $2500. in 2009 . My father inlaw pass away in 2011 so my wife was left with the car . It ran ok but was leaking fluid I cecked the coolent and it had oil slug in it ( look... view moreed like the spill in the gulf of mexico) so I fluced the radiator and still no change went back to this shop and talk to Mr. Raymond. He knew who I was cause he knew the car . Told him about the oil . He never got out of his sit or sent anyone to look about I was saying . All he said that if I had a recipt for the job. Cause I had to know the day they did the job ( what a joke) so I left. I had no proof. I found a shop paid $96. and they found that it was the head gasket . These guys are with the BBB. And had a A+ track record they went and redid the job. Raymonds auto replace the head gasket with a standard one . When you reshave a head everyone know that the metal you take off you need a oversize gasket and never changes the timing belt, water pump belt tenion and all the parts when doing a head job! It cost me $1700. To get this beutiful car purring . Never go to this shop if you want to spend$$$ go to the dealer . Also 2/2012 I found out that he has all new mechanics working there.BIG RIPOFF to RAYMOND`S AUTO I hope I`m not too latet help oters Tonydfhs@ gmail.com

Extremely fast and affordable. Highly reccomend
The owner Raymond is very honest and his staff does great work. I brought my 2003 Jag to replace a radiator in May of 2011 and they had it done the same day and at a price lower than everyone else I called. They were very friendly and helpful, as well. I have recommended friends and family since. Refreshing to find a great mechanic in Vegas!

Saved Me $400
I don`t know about these claims of Knash but having owned cars for close to 20 years I know that just because someone claimed to fix something doesn`t mean it was fixed right. Its funny the guy still had to have his distributor fixed. I took my Lexus in for to fix a problem with my brakes. The dealership quoted me $700 to fix the problem. This shop fixed the problem in about a hour and did my brakes for about $30... view more0. My brakes have been fine ever since. While in his shop I saw him give free diagnoses and estimates to four people. So I really doubt he charged the guy anything unless that was their agreement. Before he started any work Raymond explained the price of parts and labor and had me sign an authorization for work. In fact, over the phone he said bring your car in, I`ll check it out and tell you whats wrong fro free. Knash sounds like one of those people who want something for nothing.

Not recommended, at all.
It is funny, I had the opposite experience to what BigWheeler is claiming. I was told, by Raymond, certain things needed to be done to get my car running again (tune-up, timing-belt and water pump, distributor, ect). When he told me the items needed to be done, I knew right there he was full of it. I have knowledge of the last 60k miles worth of repairs, and even have a sticker under my hood that shows my timing b... view moreelt (and water-pump) where changed at a certain period not to long ago. Obviously he didn`t do much inspecting under my hood if he fails to miss the sticker and just assumes that kind of repair needed to be done. So, when I confronted him about everything he tries to tell me it is still going to be 700 dollars to fix the ""problem."" I tell him I want to take my car somewhere else, and he tries to tell me I owe him 75 dollars for his diagnosis on him assuming things are wrong. I had to bring his attention to the service sticker for the T-belt, which shut him up. The actual problem, which I found out from the next shop I took it to, was some component in the distributor went out, and a spark plug wire (which I neglected to do during my last tune-up) was going out. I had these issues fixed for a little over 300. Obviously, not recommended.

Honest Auto Repair
Alright Raymond has been a fixture in Las Vegas for years. Unlike some companies when you go to Raymond`s shop for service you get honest estimates, honest explanation of the problem and they fix the problem right. I will not take my car anywhere else. They aren`t the cheapest but they aren`t the most expensive neither but Raymond`s is the best value. They have never done me wrong in 3 years.

SCAM Artists, Run by Mafia
These guys are the worst of the worst. First time I came in, they replaced my thermostat. Then they told me I had an "oil" leak and wanted to charge $500 extra. I told them I just had the car checked out prior and there was no such leak. The next a.m. my car GUSHED oil, 25-feet long, two feet wide, onto my driveway like it was `raining oil." I knew this was their dirty work. I c... view morealled the next a.m. and they said "We told you this was going to happen, we weren`t surprised." BS! When I told them a gush is not a leak, they told me to "F-off" and hung up. Literally! I went into another mechanic that day, who said these guys loosened the oil filter until it was almost off, and "that" didn`t happen on its own. They said if I had waited another day, it would have ruined my engine. The second mechanic fixed it for FREE. Don`t go into RAY`s!!! HE`s a fat crook who just eats Italian food at his desk all day. Completely obese jerk.
