On 7/24 my car died on Lake Mead Blvd, I called AAA. I was allowed a free tow up to 5 miles. They said I could go to Dr Auto which was 4.9 miles. I was happy with that. American Auto Tow came and refused to take me there saying it was 6 miles away and said I had to $18 to go there. They lied. Then took my car to their own shop. AAA approves their towing, but no their shop. I was being scammed. The next morning they c... view morealled me at work and said they could look at my car but it would be $100. I called them back an hour later and reluctantly said yes. At 10am I was told I needed a new distributor cap and rotor and that would cost almost $700. I then called my coworker and she talked to her bf who works on cars. He said that was very high! When I called the shop and said that`s way too high. He laughed and said I know, but its the distributor, distributor cap and rotor. So now its 3 things? I said I need some time. He kept calling me every hour while I was at work asking what my decision would be. I`m working! and that is a lot of money for me. I don`t make a lot of money and that would be my whole pay check. Not to mention rent and all bills are due next week. End of the day I told him I would need some time cause I dont have that money right now. He yelled and said you owe me $100 for opening the car and make my decision. Today, 7/26 I called AAA to complain and to get my car out of that shop. I felt unsafe with them and AAA took my story to file a complaint. They 3 way a call with the shop and said the didn`t want my car in their shop anymore and demanded I pay CASH even though the website says they take credit cards. It also says they are part of AAA and are a member of BBB.org ALL LIES!!!! When I looked at the reviews on multiple review sites they all had the same experiences as me. I`m out $100 now and they will keep scamming us AAA members!!!! Later this morning, I then received a voice-mail from Cynthia saying she was from AAA and checking on how my towing went on 7/24. I explained everything to her. Then googled the number I called and found out it was not AAA that called me but American Auto pretending to be AAA! More lies!!!!!!!!!!!! At 4:30 PM on July 26 I went to go pick up my car. After speaking to Mark this morning through AAA three-way call He informed me he refused to take my credit card or my debit card even though it clearly stated on their website and on their business door they take credit cards. He told me that I would need a check or cash only. I came in and brought a cashiers check for hundred dollars. The guy wasn`t happy but he took it give me my receipt and I signed off. I waited outside for the tow truck. When the truck arrived and pooled into the back then the guy came out and said Mark the GM was on the phone for me. Then Mark told me how the owner refused to take a cashiers check would only take a personal check because it was instant cash. I told him the cashiers check is as good as cash and made out to his company. Then he continued to tell me that he refused to give me my car back. After that I called the cops and told the guy sending the police out here because he refused to give me my car back. Because it was Friday the police were backed up And it would take hours for them to come out. Then the guy said he would drop the storage fees and I hope they can leave my car here over the weekend until I going to cash.

Dude ended up not only staying late and

Dude ended up not only staying late and fixing my car, he later called to make sure I made it to the hotel okay. Really nice guy!!! If I lived there, this would definitely be the place I would bring my cars for all servicing.

fair and honest.

I`ve used American Auto Care for over 4 years. I trust them implicitly! They are fair and honest. If there are problems with their service, they make it right! They have excellent customer service! I recommend them all the time. Wouldn`t take my car to anyone else.

Good call honey.

My boyfriend swears this is the best auto repair place in Vegas. I however had my own personal favorite shop, which happened to be closed the day I needed to take my car in. I tried American Auto without letting them know my boyfriend frequents. I received awesome, and fast service from these guys. I would certainly recommend them.
