Great quality service. I had my windows tinted and my headlamps as well. The price I was told was the price I paid, and the tint was done faster than expected. Absolutely no problems at all. I would recommend Pro Tint to anyone. Overall a great experience.

I have been having my windows ...
I have been having my windows tinted by Pro-tint for as long I have been driving. The first was right after John the owner bought the place. I am a grown woman now and have had my childrens cars tinted there. I have dealt with John and many of his employee`s over the years and have always been impressed with the way they handle themselves. I have had issues with water in the tint leaving bubbles only to take it back ... view moreand have John the Owner explain in a very business like way what causes them and how to get rid of them, which they always have. If people ask me where to go get their windows done, I tell them that there is NO better place then Pro-tint. Sindee, I don`t know what happened but good luck trying to find a place that will treat you better. As for me and my family, every car goes to Pro-tint. Thank you John and your entire staff for your professional attitude and your great business sense. Oh, you also always make my cars and homes windows look great.

conclusion
My son tried to come to some sort of settle with you over the phone and you threatened him, you asked him to come to lincoln so you can `kick his a__! ` How dare you! That is not a way to do business. Nor settle an existing problem.I will not be bringing my vehicle back to you, and I will not allow any of my family to deal with you, because of your threats.I will however let all the businesses that I associate with ... view moreknow the problems I`ve had with you, and your business,... you John the boss. Wow you really set a good example for your employees. but I will also send to the BBB a formal complaint, and to the Atty General. Since you threated my family. I will be having your competetor re-film the windows you ruined, and I will be sure to tell them that the windows were only 5 days old, first time rolling them down scratched them, and you called it a manufacturers warranty problem....I am sure they will have no problem getting more of your business.Too bad you didn`t handle this better. This dosen`t include the scratches on my window trim that you sand papered to put my visors on. That was so not necessary, and I didn`t notice it till the rain had stopped, that is another issue grand problem with your business. Your experience knew that the windows would scratch, but you never told me, because if you had I would not have had the windows tinted, but instead you vowed towait till I paid the bill, and then tell me afterwards. Some excuse you have. Seems like your 30 yrs is all your gonna get.

poor quality a problem
I purchased a van 3 months ago, and decided to have my windows tinted, just two side windows in my van, they told me not to roll windows down for 5 days, as I was getting into my van to leave, I noticed puddles of water on my floor mats on the passenger side. About a 1/2 cup of water(no less), so I went back into the shop and asked the owner JOHN to step out to see what his employee had done, the solution had gotten ... view moreall over my maps that were in the pocket of the door, it was wet all the way down the side of the door, and as I told John this he simply said "oh , thats normal and its just a water solution and won`t hurt anything". I then firmly stated that I do have power windows and the controlls are not made to get wet. "Oh it won`t hurt anything, we`ll wipe it off, it`ll be fine" he said. As he went walking back into his shop, I grabbed all the tape, and plastic window film scraps that were stuck to my 3 out of 4 TIRES , with screws attached to the tape, wauded it up and threw it into his open garage shop door. thats all i need is a flat tire from their stupidity, or a littering ticket......as I live 60 miles away. I took my maps out and laid them on the seat to dry, but were wrinkled and washed out. 5 days later I finally was able to roll my windows down and I heard this awful noise like paper tearing, plastic crinkling, and as I rolled my window back up, it had several (12 or more) scratches in the NEW tint! John had called me to come in to have my visers put on, and so I waited til the apt w/visers (on the 7th day of my new window tint) to tell him abt the scratches, and when I did so, his comment was `its the manufacturer of the van`s problem`-not his employee- that it could not be a piece of dirt under the plastic film that they put on. He refused to replace it, free, BUT for $45.more he could fix it.... if... he had the velcro strip from hobby lobby, he could`ve put that on to prevent the scratches. And he acted as if this is typical thing. So I gave them over $100. to scratched up my windows. Now while I was waiting for him to check out the scratches one of his employees told me-oh yeah, he`ll replace it and do it right, sometimes things get under the film and cause scratches, velcro would hold more debree, best not to have felt(velsro strip). But assured me that his boss John wouldn`t charge me to replace the film.He also told me that the employee should`ve noticed and cleaned the windows and the rubber strip before applying the film, that is is mandatory in the way they do things before applying the window film, and sometimes employees forget or take short cuts. BUT..... SURPRISE John was goin to charge me double to fix the problem. Now about the visers he put on...the bug shield he evidently lost the black plugs to the hood that he had to take out to put in the viser (but which I found ontop my motor after I got home) he used large screws that will break my motor shield if the hood gets pushed down too hard, or if a mechanic drops the hood. My friends were absolutly astonished at their cover ups. All his work was misrepresented. He also used a solvent before placeing the viser window stripes on, and took the finish off my window trim, and used some glue that dripped and will be on my window forever. John`s answer to this was...`wax it everytime you wash the van, it will cover up the scratches!` What bull...I am waiting for my husband to come home from his trucking job to go with me to see this man, and get this redone...not so sure I want them to touch my vehicle after all this. These are not little scratches they are 3" by 5-6` long, it looks as tho they used sand paper on it. The drop of glue is 1/4" x 4" it is in my way to see. I am so tired of dealing with lazy men who think they are professionals. In this case the PRO- stands for problems.
