On October 21, 2013 I purchased a deal through living social for an auto remote start for my 2007 Infiniti FX. Once i received the deal I called Brooklyn Car Audio to set up an appointment and was told to come in right away. Once I got there I was immediately assisted by their friendly staff who told me what my wait time would be. Once they were done with installation they demonstrated how to use the remote start cor... view morerectly and efficently. They then offered a free car wash as part of the overall purchase. Im very happy with the experience of this store and the helpful staff. I would definitely reccomend this store to my friends as family as I know they will treated with the same care and respect.

Ok first off, I have never wrote a review for anything before. I also made a yelp account just to tell people about this place. I came in on a Wednesday and spoke to Sher who sold me $900 worth of stuff, was very polite and thus I put down a deposit and left. He told me that the whole job would take 4-6 hours if I came at 9am. I was back friday at 9am to have the work done. This time Sher wasn`t there and the manag... view moreer on duty, was rarely to be seen. I spoke to Guy, the third in charge or something and he was the worst salesman I ever did business with. All he intended to do was keep selling me things, like a stereo that $160 more expensive then what I paid (the stereo had a "marked down" sticker bec. it clearly didnt sell well) and $90 for fog lights. He knew nothing about the stereo and had to ask his worker Arty to help out. The whole time I felt pressured and I felt like I was being brushed off. They charged me $75 to polish my headlights a little (still dirty) and spent 15min on the job. The $75 was a service fee to clean lights. Last time I checked, services werent suppose to be taxed. They instead, "packaged" the headlights job, so I basically paid taxes on the $75! On top of that, they don`t discuss prices on the phone. What is that? some people live far away and its not easy nor cheap for them to get there. There prices are not the same as what is quoted on their adds, they even charged me a $12 Misc fee that nobody in the store knew about! I live 12 miles from the place and couldn`t go back home, so I just decided to wait there. The youtube video of their websites said that they offer to drive customers home if they had to leave the car, this was never offered to me. I was watching the work being done to my car to the point that the workers closed the garage gate on me. I don`t understand why they would do that if they had nothing to hide.When I asked a worker to open it, he rudely told me that he didn`t do it and walked off. Also, Sher told me that there would be someone working on my headlights as my stereo was getting done. This was not the case, as Arty was diligently working on my car, there were workers inside hanging out with Guy. what kind of customer service is this?? All in all, I spent 7hrs there (9-4), missed all my plans and was disrespected. Awful place. UPDATE: I realized that my car has different lights for high and low beams. These guys only switched the low ones and neglected to tell me about the high beams. When I showed the car to my friends they told me about this and I called the shop to ask about this. Will, one of the managers I think, picked up and was very nice over the phone. He said I could come in and work out a cheaper deal and told me to come immediately and I could have them installed in 1-2hrs. Again, I drove the 12 miles and when I got there a worked called Will, he couldnt come out when I asked for him by name, and he told me it would cost $200+tax for fog lights and high beams HIDs. I asked what would this have cost when my bumper was already down (last time they were doing the installation), they said I would have just paid for the kits ($50 each). I asked why they didn`t warn me last time and the guy told me that nobody uses high beams. They were very eager to try to sell me a stereo that wasnt selling well and $160 more expensive, but this they forgot to tell me about. In addition, they said it would be an hour before they can start work on my car-I got there 30min after my convo with Will. Needless to say I didn`t take this offer. This place prides itself on customer satisfaction (all over their youtube ads), but this is a lie. They only car about selling their products and making the most profit from their customers. I will write my review on other sites and report this place to the better business bureau.

Loved this place! I needed a ...

Loved this place! I needed a new navigation system because my last one didn`t have traffic avoidance and I dislike traffic. I saw this new place Brooklyn Car Audio so I went in and they had the exactly what i was looking for. Everyone of the staff was nice and Knowledgeable. Even threw in a free set of 6`` speakers and a free car wash! It was a crazy deal.

Very Good Service!!

For sometime now I have been on the market for a bluetooth/iPod compatible radio. After a few bad experiences with eBay I decided not to pay twice and just goto a specialist. Living in Brooklyn I have many options to purchase electronics. After speaking to my friend (a gadget buff) Proline came highly recommended.
