Made an appointment and took the car to Prela at 8AM. GAVE them parts for hub assemblies and drum brakes and asked them to check a bushing. At 4pm the same day I had received no word and called to check on the status and cost of the repair. The woman seemed bewildered when I mentioned my name, car and work that I requested. "sorry" she replied, "its been busy". Needless to say, I had taken a day off from work to get the work done. I arrived at 5PM to pick up the car and none of the mechanics offered an explanation. Car not even touched!! After reading all the negative reviews of their work I should have known better. If your in Bayside keep looking for mechanical work elsewhere!!! Conclusion: Don`t waist your time, terrible customer service, no communication, clowns!!

WORST AUTO REPAIR SHOP!!!

This is the worst place I have every brought my car too. I paid close to $600 for work that the guy never did. I even tipped the workers 50 bucks. As soon as I drove my care off the lot the same problems were still there. So he charged me money for work he did not do. They are the WORST auto shop I have ever been too. I don`t have a problem paying the money but do the freaking work. I asked for an alignment. Never d... view moreone care still pulls to right. Asked to fix leak in hatchback. Just had a rain storm and back of my car is a pool. (nice job he did.. NOT) So he charged me for not doing a damn thing. I won`t recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!!!

WORST REPAIR SHOP

Im not going back

I dropped my 12 year old car off a few weeks ago because I needed an oil change, inspection, wipers fixed, and my service engine light was on. The told me all I needed was a tune-up and that they can fix my wipers for me. After being told that the price will be one thing, after all the work it was actually 100 more dollars than I was quoted. Then once I got my car back, as soon as I turned it on my heat didnt work... view more anymore. They told me my car is just old and this stuff happens (you think they would notice and inform that something is wrong with the heat). Now after bringing it in a 2nd time to get fixed (which they charged me for fixing the heat), my check engine light is on again and the car is driving worse then it was before. And to top things off, my wipers (which the &quot;fixed&quot;) stopped working 2 days after they were fixed. Now I finally got it back (they fixed it a 3rd time for free) but it is still flashing check engine light and it is still very shaky while driving. I am definitely not going back to this place
