Service Problem
I went to V-tec for a rebuilt engine for my work pick-up,they unknowingly installed an improperly built engine, taking it back to them for 15 months and they were unable to find the problem. They also installed a used set of gears in my rear axle without my knowledge, resulting in 9 weeks of down time, causing me enough late payments to give me bad credit. In the last 10 years I`ve refinanced 3 times trying to recove... view morer. Robert Peschel 406-370-6468

Abuse Response
Robert didn`t have any engine problems. He made them and many others up and was after our insurance company for big $. Ask him to show you his receipt for the used parts that he said he didn`t approve of. He knows it shows his approval and when I asked him to look at his copy he told me he had ""lost it"". As you can see we offered him his money back and then some over eight years ago as a goodwill, but he has chosen... view more to go down this hate path to try and extort $80 plus thousand dollars I think was the latest figure I saw. No lawyers will take his case because they all know we did everything on our part to take care of him. AAA has contacted him to mediate and they have said we have done everything we can. He is the one who chose to keep hating us and not take the money and go somewhere else if he wanted. We are sorry he is having money problems but don`t feel it was caused by anything WE did. We even offered to buy his truck (Covered with V-Tec hate lettering) for double the Blue Book to help him out.

Service Problems
I went to Vehicle Technician Services Inc. for a new engine for my business vehicle. An improperly built engine was installed. I complained of an engine that wouldn?t shut off and also a vibration that slowly grew into a dull pounding. Repeatedly leaving my pick with V-Tec and going for test rides on several occasions, none of their technicians were able to identify the problem over a 15 month period. V-Tec also ins... view moretalled a used set of gears in the rear axle of my pick-up without informing me or stating it on my invoice.
The downtime I experienced from this, forced me to refinance now with a sub-standard credit rating. I have paid the cost to refinance three times trying to return to a standard rate.
My mortgage payment has increased dramatically V-Tec has offered me a settlement equal to the cost of the bad engine.
For eight years I have been trying to refinance down to a 8.5% loan and trying to recover what this has cost me financially with no luck.
