Horriable customer service
I was in this dealership on Monday evening 12/14/09 looking at a vehicle, I originally spoke to a salesman on the phone and I shared with him my issue, of being upside down on my current vehicle, and he assured me that I was not going to be told that I needed a lot of money down to purchase another vehicle. I came out there with high hopes and after speaking with him and how assured he seemed to be, I was very hopefu... view morel. However, he failed to mention while I was there that you would not be in the following day 12/15/09. This was after telling me he would contact me by 11:00 A.M. on this day regarding the answer on the loan. I am sure he was aware this was his day off. I never heard a peep from this company on 12/15/09. Not one person picked up the phone and called me to say anything. I had to make three phone calls myself to find out that A.) you he was not in, and the one thing I didn`t need to know, B.) that I needed a lot of money down. I already had heard this from 2 other dealers prior to driving the 28 miles out there and had told him this. I also told him what I currently owed on my vehicle so that was not a mystery. I just feel like I wasted my time and the customer service was very high to get me in the door and then a deal was not going to be made, which I assume was known when we walked out the door on the night of 12/14 since we were first told we would have an answer in the next 10 minutes then today there was no answer still at 12:00 P.M. Even when they had an answer, they did not even feel the need to pick up the phone and call me to let me know. On 12/15 this dealer closed at 6:00 P.M. I called them at 5:45 P.M. So they were just going to let it go and keep me wondering since they knew a deal was not going to be made. That is NOT the way to treat a prospective customer since at tax time I will have the money for a more significant down payment, however I will NOT return there? The people at Sprit Toyota have been very helpful and the customer service has been top notch. The sales man responded to my complaint by talking down to me and had used swear words during the time he was trying to sell me a vehicle. NOT professional. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you like to be treated like dirt.
