Scam Artits
DO NOT go to this dealer for service. They supposedly replaced a faulty sensor in my car with a price tag of $400. In less than 8 months the car broke down with the exact same problem. This time they claim that it is the instrument panel that failed and asked for $1,100. Either they are incompetent or they are opportunistic con artists. In addition, their service people are rude and unfriendly.

Go somewhere else. Went in for...
Go somewhere else. Went in for scheduled 75K mile service to include oil change and tire rotation. Owners` manual did not indicated anything else needed to be done. Vehicle was running great. Service manager told me I needed another $700+ worth of service including air conditioner, brake, fuel injector, cooling system flush, and transmission PREVENTIVE cleaning flush. As I asked questions, I got a bunch of pre-rehear... view moresed scripted answers. I thought I was talking to politicians.
When I got home I studied owners manual more thoroughly and nowhere saw anything that indicated ANY of thes extras were needed, as the vehicle had routine services every 5K miles and was never told I had any problems. Service manager gave me a line that the previous dealer was probably "lazy". "Oil change and tire roation" wound up costing over $400.

Fantastic
?ˆ? I recently bought a 2007 Toyota Camry LE from Newbold Toyota, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. Not only did they give me a tremendous deal, they also didn`t bother me with the double talk you typically receive from other dealerships. What impressed me the most is how much the salesperson truly cared about what he was doing. This is a characteristic you don`t see anymore.?ˆ?

Excellent service and sales staff
I recently bought a car at Newbold and I had the best car experience of my life. The sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly and I got a great deal. My husband just had his car serviced there and was very happy with the results. They were willing to go the extra mile and they were timely which is so important!

WORST DEALER EVER
I would not recommend this company to anyone. The customer service is horrible, they are extremely rude and act as if you are ignorant. Their service department is equally annoying and rude. Unless you like this sort of thing, I would not recommend getting anywhere near here.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE
I had my car fixed here, some very extensive engine damage costing nearly 3,000 dollars. When I came to pick up my car the antenna was broken and there was a scratch on it. I went back in, told them about it and they assured me they would fix it, that they would call within a week and set up a date for me to come back in. They tell me ""the kids"" must have broken it when they drove it through the automatic car wa... view moresh. ""THE KIDS""?!?! They are letting kids drive my car? And secondly, my car was disgusting with bird feces when I picked it up, and seriously doubt it was washed. One month later and four calls from me to Newbold and one to the toyota representative, I get my 8:30 a.m. appointment- in which the rep assures me that it will only take one hour- tops. My scratch on the car- what scratch??? they tell me- it will not be fixed. I get there, at 8 a.m. and everything is going fine. One hour later, my car is still sitting in the lot (has not even been started on) and people that arrived AFTER me are leaving. When first asked about the status of my car, the rep said ""It is being washed as we speak."" He is saying this right after I just walked past my car in the lot. When questioned about the car being in the lot and him saying its being washed.. the stuttering began. And why in the hell would they put it through the wash when that is what broke the antenna in the first place? I did not want ""the kids"" washing my car again. I then told him I did not want my car fixed there. I have had it with them. I guess the paying customers get first priority over customers that came back for something they broke themselves. I will never go back there, I do not care if my antenna stays broken and would NEVER recommend anyone to deal with these people. They cannot take responsiblity for what they do and act ignorant when questioned about their questionable decision making skills.

Shame on you!!!
To the person who bought a car that has burns and smells, all I can say is shame on you. I am sure you looked at the car before you took delivery and even drove it, if it had burns you didn`t like and it smelled then don`t take delivery. I can`t believe the stupidity that oozes from people like this. I don`t work for this dealer, but I do work for a dealer. I am not a saleperson, but I sure feel for them. Yes they so... view moreld you a car that had some imperfections, and you bought, thats the sign of a good salesman. Don`t use the excuse I had to go home(what a cop out). I dare you to walk in any other store in the country pick up a damaged product, carry it to the counter and pay for it, you won`t. The facts are you simply won`t buy it, so shame on you, you should have been strong and not the weak person that goes home and writes about it. YOu should have simple said you call me when the car is repaired and I will come and look at it, if it is up to my standards I will then buy. NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOU YOURSELF!!!!!

The worst experience of purchasing a vehicle I have ever had!!!!!
Lets just start off with that they sold me a car that had cigarrette burns from the back of the car to the front of the car along with red cool-aid stains all over the back seat. And the smell of the car was just awful. It smelled like a dirty nasty musty old hotel room that has never been cleaned!!! Absolutely HORRIBLE! Also let me tell you that I am originally from that area but now I live 4 hours away. I called in... view more advance and they said they would help me, they know just the car for me.....2 days later they were still looking for the car???!!! They had no clue where the car was at!!! While they were looking for the car they had me test drive the same car I was purchasing. The salesman told me that the car that I was test driving is exactly what I was buying. They finally found it and said they were having it detailed and getting it all ready for me. By this time is was Monday at 3:00 PM and again I live 4 hours away. When I finally was able to see the car.....I was mortified. They said they would fix everything the next time I came into town.......Well beings I had to go because now it was going on 6:00 and I was so LIVID, I drove home. I called them that Monday and emailed pictures of everything and I said that there is no way I was paying for that car. They said fine the next time you come into town we will put you in another one. It was told to them that I was coming in Easter weekend and they said they were ready...So on Easter weekend I drove back to Illinois and dropped my car off. It took them until April 27 to get the papers printed for the car that they said they were going to sell me. That was 4 weeks later. Mind you that they said they paid off the first car but yet I am still getting phone calls that it has not been paid and Newbold is saying that they paid it. I WOULD NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! They make Auffenberg St. Clair Auto Mall look like Angels!!!!

Good price quote
Gave me the best initial price quote of all dealers (although not the best final quote by about $10). If you live on the Illinois side (I live in West county), I`d definitely consider talking to them. I only had e-mail contact with this dealer, but the e-mail was professional and quickly got to the point. No matter what, make sure you get a quote from these guys if you are buying a Toyota in St. Louis. Again, if you ... view morelive on the east side of the Mississippi River, these guys are probably your best bet.
