best for the buck and down home people

By far the best place that i have ever been .not only do they greet you with a smile but the work they do brings you a smile ive been coming to mad hatter in collinsville and alton for the better part of 10 years and always had supiour work the guys are just regular people like you and me who have to work for the buck so they understand when you dont have alot of cash not sure what happen with this clown who wrote BS... view more about them but maybe he just axualy had a real problem and i cost more then you expect sometimes when you run your car in the ground or its just a hard job things come up thats probly the hardest part about working on cars these days is everybody thanks it should be cheepier not always the case but anyhoo this place rocks

Bad repair, worse attitude afterwards

Don`t trust your car to these clowns. They gave me a slightly lower estimate than others to lure me in, only to call me halfway through the job to tell me something or other came up and they have to charge me substantially more than the initial estimate. After I reluctantly agreed to accept the new higher price and let them finish the job, it still isn`t fixed right. They also claimed that they had never told me they could fix the problem in the first place. I found the contrast between their eagerness to take the job initially and their reluctance to deal with me after I paid them quite striking.
