WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER
My sales rep was good at telling me he would take care of it but NOTHING was done right the first time. My sales rep was in the middle of being trained for a different position at a different location (which I was not told until after he was no longer at the location). I ended up dealing with him by phone and he would have me dealing with different people at the location I was purchasing my vehicle at (Pre-Owned Cen... view moreter). My sales guy was not fully relaying detail information to the different reps I was dealing with. I ended up having to make 5trips, even after already have everything approved and ready to go, each trip was at the least 1hr longest was 2.5hours, making several calls to the sales manager, and the attitude I received from the managers was "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT". I mean really what type of manager says that to a customer that just purchased a $16,000 car from them. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. I even spoke with a sales rep at the Belleville and the O`Fallon location and was given the same attitude what do you want me to do about it attitude, the only difference is one of them actaully said it to me.

Hit and Miss
The Auto Mall was a great concept. Especially when all the dealers were owned byt he same company. But some dealerships moved out, others were sold. And now, the mall seems more an amalgum of struggling dealerships than the flagship of auto sales it was even a few years back. Ironically, the dealerships that moved still ring through this number, such as Hyundai, even though they are physically a mile or so away. ... view more Ultimately, I have yet to find a dealership here that can match the deals I have foudn elsewhere in the city. The prices are high, the salespeople are hard-sell. The service departments, however, are very nice. Quailty techs, quality service. If the auto-mall wants to save itself, they need to look into the concept of non-commissioned sales people. And use it as a sellign point to bring them your business. I know I`d stop by more often when shopping for cars if I know the sales people were not there to push, but rather to guide. Overall, there are worse, but there are definately better. Three stars.
