They initially said I need new brakes and rotors. I told them the rotors should be fine. The service attendant went back to the mechanic and came back and told me that I didn?ˆ™t need rotors. They told me that I needed an oil change after I had dropped it off. I didn?ˆ™t find out until after the fact that my wife had my oil changed about 2000 miles earlier. When they were doing the work, there was a sticker in the window... view more and my car has a computer maintenance reminder, they reset, so I feel they knew my car did not need an oil change. Lastly, they called me up to let me know my rear brake calipers were leaking. This was covered under my Honda Warranty so I asked them to just button it up and I would take to Honda tomorrow. Honda looked at it and told me there was no leak.

great service and honesty
These guys ROCK!!! My Father was a lifelong mechanic so I know how hard it can be to find one you trust. Eilenberger`s is the place I trust and recommend to anyone with the same hesitation towards mechanics. They`ll walk you through the repairs and bill. They DO NOT do unauthorized work and more importantly, their fair and honest about the work that needs to be done. If I had a sister, mother, or daughter, this is th... view moree place I would tell them with all confidence to go.

Great service
The people at Eilebergers have done nothing but treat me fair every time I have been in there. I was hesitant at first to take my Acura in there since it was an import but they did a great job at a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge me. They didnt try to upsell me on things I didnt need and were up front with the work that was needed and the cost. I am not a car guy and have always been leery of work... view moreing with an auto shop that isnt associated with the dealer directly. With these guys, I know if I have an issue, I will be treated fairly and not get jammed.

Reliable and Honest
I have been a customer at Eilenberger`s Automotive the past 3.5 years. They have taken care of numerous issues for both domestic and import autos I own. These repairs have included suspension, electrical, tire mounting/balancing, tune-up and other areas. I have found the shop to be extremely competent and honest, which has allowed me to avoid the prohibitive costs and complications of dealer-based repairs. Paul,... view more Aaron, and Mitch also allow you to feel as much a friend as a customer. Numerous neighbors have had similar experience and makes Eilenberger`s the Overland Park shop of choice in my opinion.

2007 Pontiac G6
I was having some anitfreeze leaking from my car. And to save a buck (I thought) and i have been taken my cars to them for years. I took my car to see them. The first time it was my overflow cracked and leaking, second time it was my radiatior and my third time it was a blown head gasket. Car never overheaded, light never came on to justify that find. I refused the third time for them to work on it and had the car... view more towed to the dealer ship and they found NO HEAD GASKET blown, what they found was when Eilenberger`s Automotive swapped out my radiator the fluid had ran on the frame and that was the fluid we were seeing on the ground. $1000 dollars later to Eilenberger`s Automotive and I had to take it to the dealer to have them tell me the truth. So, in all honesty what really was the trouble with my car... Why was it leaking?? That question will always be an UNSOLVED mystery. If you trust them now you might want to keep an close eye out on them they might just catch you by surprise and take you for as much as they can.. Just beware.

Great service
We had trouble with our `01 Maxima and were aghast at the dealer quote to replace catalytic sensor parts. Eilenbergers Automotive repaired it for half the quoted dealer estimate, and it ran trouble free another 45,000. This was over 7 years ago, and we have had 3 other cars maintained by Aaron and Paul since then, without a hitch. They have been flexible, reasonable, and helpful in all matters automotive.
The... view morey will give you confidence in the reliability of your car. It`s like having family in the business. They do the field of independent car shops proud!

The garage to go to
Ever since a co-worker recommended them 3 years ago, I have gone to them with all my car problems. They are friendly, nice and most important very honest and reasonably priced.
They never let me down, their work is excellent and they always try to help you find a decent price for the part you need.
Just recently I went there, because I had a clacking noise when breaking and I thought it is my control arm and th... view moree bushings and was prepared for a high bill. They called me and told me that only the bolts were loose and my car is ready to be picked up!!!
Tell me, which garage is so honest!?!?
They could`ve easily made a couple hundreds here, but that`s why I love these guys and I don`t go to any other place!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Great Deal & reliable & trustworthy.
My wife, daughter and I drive older cars. Paul and Arin have saved us hunders of dollars by extending the life of our cars through out the years. We have been a loyal customer for six years. I trust their advise, they have never tried over sold us on repairs unlike most repair shops in Overland Park.

Warning - poor customer service
The worst customer service I have ever gotten from an automotive shop. My car was in by 8:00 AM and I authorized the work by 10:00 AM. No one called me to tell me the car would not be done until the next day. I called them late in the afternoon and received this information. I was told as an excuse ""you are not our only customer"". I simply explained that I would have rather had my appointment refused than to d... view moreeal with my car being in the shop for two days. The ultimate response to this disagreement was that I was hung up on. I called back and spoke with the owner. Though he was nice, I simply refuse to give my business and money to a place that treats customers this way. I had them put the car back together as is, picked it up and had to take it elsewhere.
