I seldom quibble over how I?ˆ™m treated. Rather I mostly vote with my feet; wallet. But the blatant lie and attitude from this ?ˆ?Service?ˆ? department deserve comment. I called the dealership because they are a Featherlite Trailer Dealer. I was all set to buy a 24?ˆ™ model. However, before I could pull it I had to have a gooseneck hitch installed on my truck. I called giving my VIN number and ask if they had the kit i... view moren stock. Mr. D said, ?ˆ?no but I?ˆ™ll order it for you and call you when it comes in.?ˆ? after 5 days I called him and he said, ?ˆ?oh yes, it?ˆ™s in.?ˆ? So I made an appointment to have it installed at 8:00am and ask how much it would cost installed. Mr. D said, ?ˆ? $500-$600.?ˆ? I said ok, knowing that the kit cost $299 on line. After a 90 min drive I arrived and as Mr. D was taking down my information I again ask for the total cost. Now it was $700. I confronted him about the significant increase, and he got angry , raising his voice, saying, ?ˆ? I know what I said you old man.?ˆ? So I collected my keys and left; voting with my feet. If this guy did it to me, he will do it to you. Buyer Beware!!!
