My brother took his car to the...

My brother took his car to the Belton MO. Calvert`s Express Auto Service and Tire location for a tune up. What he got was 4 new spark plugs for $135.56. He was charged $13.99 a piece for plugs that cost $6.99 at the auto parts store and was charged $18.75 in labor per spark plug. This only reflects this particular location but if I were you I would stay away. He was never told what a tune-up consisted of and was not ... view moreshown the service reciept until the work was completed. CAUTION!!!

Not sure if it was because I am a woman or if they just don`t care, but they screwed up the firing order on my spark plug wires and tried to tell me it would "work itself out". Let me leave with a car that was not running right and was unsafe. Fortunately got a real mechanic to correct the problem. DO NOT be the last customer of the day - they have no interest in making it right, just in leaving on time.
